I second that. I would also like to see Gary Payton and DJ Mbenga on the TWC team.

Why? At least try to get an entertaining guy like Barkley (I know there is only one Charles Barkley). Jamison is boring. Bring back Jack Haley, that dude is entertaining.

Loose Laker ties? How about bringing back these guys that weren't a Laker long enough. How about bringing in Derek Harper? He's done a good job as a analyst for the Mavericks.

How about John Celestand? Here's his broadcast resume...

How about Tracy Murray?

I'll take Billy Mac and Stu over Ralph "Bingo" Lawler and Homer Smith any day, anytime. Listening to those guys is just plain nauseating.

The guy I'd like to see try his hand at calling a game would be Trudell. The guy has a great, distinctive voice, and he seems to be a very good student of the game.

Hi, Trudell.
J/K

I think they might be grooming him to take over for Stu or MT. Didn't Ireland start off doing sideline reports, then face paint/powder his way into the broadcast booth?

Lakers had the next stud announcer, Spiro Dedes. They needed to make an offer for him he couldn't refuse. He could have done NFL games in September before the NBA season.

Smith is horrible. Hes such a drama queen. I know you root for your own, but even stu will point out a laker flop when he sees one. Smith is constantly saying griffin is being murdered

Haley? So he can break potential trades and deals before they happen?

Didn't care for his overuse of "when I played with Michael."

You played with him for like a year or two and you were a scrub the .

Bye.

Like Norm Nixon.

Wonder what Jack Haley is doing these days. I thought he was a good halftime/postgame analyst.

Jack Haleys prediction comes true " Boozer a Laker...book it"

I like his resturaunt good crab legs.

yea he's pretty bad. I don't know what's worse, his commenting or time warner cable making him out to be some excellent addition.

I think he's fine, he just seems a little nervous which is understandable. I can understand what he's saying which counts fora lot lol

Metta would be great! He always does awesome on when he sometimes is a co host on espn radio. I actually totally would expect him to do it once he does retire from playing basketball.

As for Gary I know a lot of people hated him on TNT/NBA TV but I thought he was at least funny. Give me Gary over Greg Anthony every single time. How does Greg Anthony keep getting jobs? Whats next is ESPN gonna bring Tom Tolbert back?

I don't think Antawn is very good but he's still new so I'll give him some ramp up time. To me, it seems like he's a bit of a deer in headlights and just regurgitates basic stuff.

Frankly, I'd just like to see someone that's a bit more of a Laker. He's always been somewhat of a Kobe nemesis for most of his career to me.
