It's too hard to say. His nerve pain is calm now, but at 40 years old with a lot of wear and tear on his body, it's hard to say when it will come back or what will trigger it. I don't know if 25mpg and 60+ games is realistic, but he could be in the 15-20mpg range and play most games (skipping back to backs) if things stay as is.
If you want to talk about the "eye test", Nash looked better in game 1 of the preseason than he looked all of last season and all of last preseason, and that was following weeks of reports that he looked great last year too. As Stu mentioned during the game, you can tell a lot by the strides a guard is taking when he's moving to the rim and Nash was taking beautiful long strides on some of his drives -- something we didn't see last year at all. He didn't look hobbly, which was a good sign. But all this can change with 1 fall.

There is no such thing as 100% with Nash. Even if he feels perfectly fine today, he can wake up tomorrow with back spasms or nerve irritation. No one knows what to expect from him -- Nash doesn't know himself. All he knows is how he feels on any given day.

Lakers fault for giving that terrible contract to him, he'll have to take nights off to recover. That being said, him and Kobe are basically the leaders on this team with their basketball knowledge, so what he doesn't have in athleticism he makes up in not making dumb plays.

Tell it to this dude.....

He's healthier than the last 2 seasons, if this means anything
If he can keep it up, he will probably play like 50 games with 15 mpg and end his career in a good way. That's what I expect.

I'm pretty sure Nash is not actually at 100%, since I've never met anyone who is.
Was Kobe at 100% before he ruptured his achilles tendon?
Was Nash at 100% before he collided with Damian Lilliard?
Everything in life is conjecture, especially when it comes to health, and even more so when it comes to the health of someone who plays professionally in a high impact contact sport like basketball. _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman

Exactly. He's in great shape for a 41 year old man but in the NBA he will never be healthy again.
Every minutes Nash will give to this team is a bonus and not something anyone should count on or expect.

He's healthy. He's fit. He's in NBA shape and well conditioned. He's able to do the things he wants without restriction.
Is he as strong or as fast as he once was? No. But that's not a health issue. It's just age.
His age also makes him a higher risk of getting injured... so he has a higher risk of something happening to make him unhealthy. And unhealthy for an extended period of time or career ending.
He is a perfectly healthy 40 year old man aside of nerve issues last year, healthier than your average 40 year old person. He just cannot compete as fiercely with the young fellas anymore. You lose a step with age but that's normal.
Nash and everyone else is banking on him being healthy, but it's not something he or anyone else will know until the challenge is there.
If Lakers have 20 or so back to backs, he will probably sit those games out which could be a great move because he gets tose days off. And, Lin gets to run with the 1st unit which should enhance his learning curve of that gang; sounds like a win-win...
