Injury bug is everywhere; Beal, Chalmers, Bennett, Kevin Martin, Jeff Green, Nowitzki, Anthony Davis, Granger, Rondo, Spiitter, Vonleh, Felton, Noah, KD and many more...
Hopefully we get Lin, Kelly and X back soon, followed by Kelly Young. And if the pack can stay relatively healthy we could at least have some interesting basketball; win or not... |

Does Vitti or Jim Buss work part time for the Thunder?
Kevin Durant out 8 weeks with a fractured foot.
There's no other explanation for this. |

As you could see in my post above, they must part time everywhere, lol... |

First time I heard this.
Kind of ironic because KD sat out USA basketball this summer to avoid just this type of thing.
At least all of our injuries, with the exception of Swaggy, have been minor. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Sadly, yes. |
No I think the argument is that using the newest advances in training, treatments, and technology, it could have been avoided. Some newer cars have collision avoidance and autonomous braking. So Vitti should be putting these types of systems in the players shoes. |

That depends, did you pay Gary Vitti his vig this morning? Did you do your weekly animal sacrifice to the hidden altar you're supposed to build in the corner of your room to appease Vitti? It's all in the Lakers fandom handbook -- you didn't throw yours out in the mail, did you?
And without injuries, how is Vitti going to justify and earn his annual end-of-year salary bonus? Think of the children! Assuming Vitti has children he has to put through college. Not necessarily his own children, of course. Sponsoring some random child he picked out of a hat for college works, too. |

LMAO
what's wrong with nash? i thought he was just being held out for rest....now he's "feeling better" and a game time decision? | Nash needs to go all he's doing is keeping the team from moving on. Byron needs to make Lin the starter and put Nash on the bench, with of this crap. |
I don't think he needs to go but I do agree that if these mystery "treatments" are going to keep him out of games and he has planned days off (B2Bs, long road trips, etc.) then he should just come off the friggin bench so the first unit stays as consistent as possible. I don't see the benefit of constantly jerking the starting lineup around when the regular season rolls around. |

So you choose to believe that the Lakers don't use the newest advances in training? Based on? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Morning shootaround reports usually show up around noon time... so nothing on Lin means that he's probably good enough to play through this injury. |

He should rest off that ankle, it's pre-season; he could take a day off... |

If it's necessary, of course. I'm just hoping it's really minor so he doesn't even need to rest. |

With Jeremy Lin out tonight with a sprained ankle, Byron Scott expects Ronnie Price to get a lot more time tonight. |

Its just pre-season, really. Lakers know what they have with Jeremy Lin. No need to rush him back.
I really, really want Jordan Clarskon to return sooner than later though. Pre-season is the perfect oppurtunity for him to get some NBA minutes. His floater wasn't working against Denver.. but it'll drop eventually.
His penetrating ability also helps the offense (or should lol) |
