He really needs to retire.

Screw the money, this is for his own personal health now.

hopefully he can just get back to the point where he can give 12-15 min a night. that's being optimistic. i don't think there should be any question that he shouldn't be jerking around the starting unit playing and not playing. ronnie price just secured his spot on the roster...

That is ridiculous. After one preseason game on limited minutes?

Do people really think he should still be starting?

At this point I don't even care about whatever on court production he can muster. For his own sake just retire.

Possibly two lottery picks with one possibly a top 10 one. I was in favor of it so it hurts more.

Time to retire Nash. You had a great run but your time is up.

Nash shouldn't be playing, forget starting. Nash is only on the roster cause the lakers are trying to save face. Clarkson should be getting ALL of Nash's minutes because there is no future with Nash at all.

Nash will scratch and claw to his last breath to stay on the team because of his mid-life crisis/final money grab. You are soon to be 41 and are done physically, Steve. Give it up and go away already.

I said months ago you can't depend on Nash he is done. It's not going to get better. Start Lin and bring Price off the bench. Clarkson is your emergency PG at the moment. Just cut Nash, pay him and use his roster spot for someone that can play.

Yeah I mentioned in one of the other Nash threads that he was quoted as saying he was dealing with a "small sciatica problem". Sciatica = nerve problem = not great to hear from someone with an ongoing nerve damage issue. Le sad and Le unfortunate.

The first preseason game looked so promising, let's hope he can recover to at least play 12-15mpg.
