dude, some players are just not meant to shoot fades......or dribble the ball. das Wes.

it's his only hope. he improves his % on that short mid range jumper, he will be lethal. the positive I am seeing is that he can get the shot off... it's just a matter of a few adjustments, I think. dude needs to work on accuracy.

uh, it's pointless if your fade away can't make basket, innit?

Wes should just focus on slashing and cutting, and playing D.

imho, he shouldn't even be playing >5min when Young and X gets back.

He missed more than a few shots, at the rim. Best shot he took was the bank shot from the elbow that rimmed out.

He needs a ton of work but looks to be willing to put that work in and play his role. Kudos to wes, I honestly hope his potential is Ariza or better.

Wes needs to stick to spot up shooting and thats it. No dribble pull ups. Ever.

This guy has no hope. I don't even know about slashing & cutting because he can't finish. His D is overrated too.

If Randle was healthy, I have no doubt that he would be outplaying him. Randle/Kobe/Lin would of won that clippers game I think.

We have one. His name is Wes Johnson and 13 minutes a game sounds about right for him.

Wes only seems to have two skills on offense. Spot up shooting and alley-oops. You either need a good playmaker who can penetrate the lane or an inside scoring threat who could kick it out to him. He's a decent spot-up shooter when his feet are set. I wouldn't trust him to shoot coming off picks like Ellington and he's terrible shooting off the dribble.

If Nash were healthy and we still had Pau, they probably could have made him look better than he really is.

I don't hate Wesley. It's obvious he is trying hard and wants to do well for himself and the team. But he's just not a starting caliber SF.

the increased amount of ball handling, breaking the offense and one-on-one attempts is a disturbing addition to his game. is that really what he learned over the summer?

Wes is not an NBA caliber player. Tell me one team other than the Lakers who would have him on their team?

Is Wes NBA talent, I have trouble watching him play because he just does not give the impression that he belongs playing in the NBA. Wes just does not do anything special, he is not a scorer, shooter, rebounder and his defense is average. The Lakers definitely need to look for a more dynamic player to play the three.

I'd rather have Luke Walton running the 3 instead of Wes.

Mr. Always injured, Mr. Can't fit a Phone book under my feet when I elevate, Mr. Sub me out my backup is better, LUKE WALTON.

Some dummy tried to argue that Wes is better than Gerald Green (a player we had sitting on our D-League Roster but never picked up). I laughed. He isn't even better than Chris Douglas Roberts (SF we drafted, and now Clippers have coming off bench).
