Happy for Coach Scott.
He deserved a break after this season and so did the entire Laker organization.
It's a great day to be a LAKER!! |

And now he gets the big who can properly allow him to run an inside out offense. It will be nice to have a big who will require a double team again. |

Quote: | Being told that the Lakers will be pursuing Tom Thibodeau. Byron Scott has just the one year left. Lakers would be paying four head coaches.
If the Lakers do hire Thibs, that would be 3 head coaches on payroll, not four... My apologies. |
How good is this Jordan Schultz guy? |

Complete fraud. Among other recent things, he posted that sources told him the Lakers had won the lottery, and that Stanley Johnson was going back to AZ. |

I can't help but to want Byron to turn things around this season and for us to want to keep him coaching here for the next decade. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Yeah, I think Jahlil Okafor and Karl Anthony-Towns are made for an offense like what Byron insists on running.
I don't think it'll happen right out of the gate.. but as the season progresses I'd imagine defenses will have to react when Towns / Okafor get the ball in the post.
Defenses didn't really *have* to do much when Tarik Black, Jordan Hill, Robert Sacre, and Ed Davis had the ball in the post. They could just go one-on-one and live with the results.
If Okafor / Towns becomes the player we think they will .. it'll open up 3 point shots, open lanes to the basket etc. |

He deserves better than the treatment he got from some Laker Fans this year.... He has been a part of some of our best times as Laker fans. The hope is he has some success here in his run as COACH. |

Because it's Jordan Schultz. He's a fraud. Seriously look at the other replies above you.
His reports are basically Onion articles without the satire. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

I know the report about the Lakers pursuing Thibodeau got locked but the dude who reported the news seems convinced that the Lakers are gonna go after Thibodeau and even mentioned that the Lakers getting the #2 pick really helps..... it would be interesting to see if he's right. |
