seems like she does business with her heart and is very sentimental. |
This is the root of all problems, not Kobe ball hogging, not Scott being a bad coach well he is but this goes above his pay grade. If Jeannie buss continue gives green sign for Scott to let Kobe do whatever he wants then all the other stuff are pointless. Don't tell me this Jim runs basketball BS, Jeannie buss has the power to get rid of jim, therefore, imo she's calling all the shots |

I asked Byron at practice today if he's considered reducing Kobe's minutes. The "no" seemed very firm. As you were. Happy holiday. AK |

I asked Byron does he counsel Kobe on how to balance his game w/the kids - Scott laughed, said he's letting Kobe find it for himself |

Someone needs to corner Mitch and ask him if he agrees. I can't believe he's on board with this. |

Oh Mitch is vey aware of what is happening but I don't think he can do much. Jeanie wanted a little bit of say in the basketball operations. Mitch is going to sit there and wait until she comes to him and he's going to be like, "can I do my job now?"
When Dr. Buss passed, Jeanie and Jim wanted more say in who was brought in; not great basketball minds, just the kids of a great owner.
After this year Jim is gone. Jeanie should follow him right out that door too. |

He's Byron's boss or co-boss with Jim. Do you really think he can't say "change this or else"? |

Clarkson says more minutes even at the D-league level means growth, WHOS LYING?
jim and mitch know they must fire him, they are just waiting a few more games so that they wont look that bad. I say 20-25 games. |
BS is a Jeanie/Showtime hire, they cant be seen as short changing him. Also, they are enjoying watching them be embarrassed a little about. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

By gone I mean from making basketball decisions. I could have worded it better but I'm very aware who the owners are and it's very worrisome; them making primary basketball decisions and all. |

It's not the front office that will turn on Byron, it's the players including Kobe. If he keeps up his current arrogance he will get run out of town because Russell, Clarkson and Randle are going nowhere anytime soon. |

I legit think you can replace Byron with a carboard cutout in practice with a tape recorder that says "Keep running" and no one would know the difference. |

We need a Byron Scott soundboard so we can prank call people with it - like in those Youtube Videos |

I was ready to give thanks when I read the ESPN ticker and it said Lakers coach Byron Scott, I was omg he got fired
Then it continued and it was the he's not worried about Kobe's shooting story. |

I've always been supportive of the FO, but if there's one thing that's going to change my opinion of them, and has started to, it's going to be the hiring and handling of Byron Scott.
Look, I understand why it doesn't make much sense to fire the guy in the middle of Kobe's final season. But I kinda sorta wish, they would just do something, show some sign, give me SOMETHING, somehow, via a media leak or something, that they're as frustrated and annoyed and pissed as we are so I can at least feel some comfort knowing this is it for the guy. |

Jeanie basically grew up with the Showtime guys, they're like family to her. She will never allow Byron to be fired. Might as well face it, Byron's here for the next 20 years. |

Also, they are enjoying watching them be embarrassed a little about. | exactly, the Lakers can go on a 38 game losing streak and BS would still be safe, don't think they would fire him in the middle of the season. Just hope they have enough sense to move him up to the FO in the off season as Kobe rides into the sunset. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"
