Mike Trudell @LakersReporter ·
Kobe just exploded for a hammer dunk through traffic in a 3-on-3 drill. By far the most elevation he’s flashed this preseason.
Los Angeles Lakers @Lakers ·
And here’s the video: https://vine.co/v/Obqu6ihTBeX RT @LakersReporter: Kobe just exploded for a hammer dunk through traffic in a 3-on-3 drill.
Enjoy. Nice to see some of the lift returning. |

Nice. Kobe has looked pretty good thus far. The only concern was the lack of attacking the basket. This is promising. |

Byron said he'd prefer threes over long twos and that you either take a step in to take a mid range shot, or you take a step back and take the three, but that toe on the line shots make him cringe, yesterday. So that joke probably won't have legs for very long for anyone that actually read what Byron said. |

Not a lot of lift on that dunk, he barely got the ball over the rim. Lets hope that's not him trying his best.

Far from a "hammer", that was a layup-dunk....nice move though. I do think his teammates gives him space he won't get in real games... |

Kobe looked very good on that dunk the most elevation I've seen from him post achilles. This is encouraging news for all Laker fans. |

I know this has nothing to do with the Kobe video, but are those spectators on the sideline? |

He'll probably get his legs back somewhere early to mid season. |

Yes, true. He's under a microscope right now, everyone saying he's "done." He's nowhere close to competitive shape.
He is not the Kobe of old, for sure. But he's maybe 40% of what he can be.
I'm sayin' mid-season. Big push after the break. |

Kobe looked really good today, Ryan Kelly will play tommorrow his game looks much improved and he wll spread floor, if they can get Ellington some space he is a deadly shooter and Ronnie Price is a bulldog on the defense
Lin took part in opening drills but no scrimmage type drills was a great experience being at the practice |

I think it's open practice today at the Toyota Sports Center, there was a thread earlier with a reference to a sign up page. |

Nice. I'm looking forward to his first dunk in-game. IIRC hasn't gone for one yet so far this preseason. |

Only thing that really sucks about Price is he can't pass and doesn't look to penetrate, which limits the outside looks the team gets if the ball is in his hands.
How did he look today running the offense? |

right? I read hammer dunk in traffic and I was expecting to see one like he did to Brooklyn a couple years ago. This was more of a "basic dunk conceded by the defense" but it gets the job done. |
