With the uncertainty of Xavier and injury to Nick, Lakers are lacking at SF. |

I agree. Maybe if his name was Ellington as opposed to Wellington, I might change my mind. |

I like Roscoe, but the team needs all the shooters it can get. Can't fault Ellington too much because the shots he's getting are the product of the system and team execution. |

"Wellington". I think both are going to be cut. We don't really need either of them. |

Question is, does Roscoe like beef Wellington cuz if he do, maybe he can get a piece, cut for him too.
Sorry, all I can think of is Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey and all that Beef Wellington.

So to answer the question honestly one must ask himself:
Which do you prefer a filet steak coated with pâté de foie gras and duxelles wrapped in puff pastry or southern fried chicken and buttermilk waffles?

Smith is a good defender but Ellington will make it because he can shoot. |

Smith should be able to latch on with the Defenders and hopefully develop his game a little more.
We may be able to use him on down the line at some point. |

I'm wondering if we should just cut both of them and pick up Earl Clark. |

Earl is a known quantity. Roscoe is a rookie with upside. I think we have to take Roscoe. _________________ You are either in or on your way to the NBA Finals. |

Nope. Earl is made the in the mold as Wesley. High draft pick, no real fundamentals, show signs of potential then disappear...a bust. We don't need another one of those on this teams. |

But if cut Wellington there'd be no more LOTR. _________________ NBA Finals 2008 Game 4 post-game reaction:

Orestes - Guess that's one way to find out if you really bleed purple & gold. |

Ellington stays until Swaggy P gets back. I'd prefer to cut both BTW. But Ellington's shooting is important to the coaching staff. I like Roscoe's effort. If he were a big, I'd replace Jordan Hill with him. _________________

Please, please keep Roscoe. He can be like Jerome Williams/Junkyard Dog, a key role player for any winning team. Upside of Gerald Wallace. For older fans, Larry Smith, one of my favorites. |

Roscoe had 6 points and 6 rebounds tonight.
Only knock on him back in college was his being in shape and his dedication. I think his recent performances and the obvious shape and intensity he's played with may be showing that Byron may be the perfect coach for him. |

I was thinking Earl would perfect for Byron's system. |

I want Roscoe to stay but I think Ellington will make it due to his past with Scott. |

Ellington finally looked good this game vs portland. Just needs his legs back under him, his shot was flat up until this game. Looked sweet tonight. |
