The Jeremy Lin to Ed Davis PNR combo is becoming a lethal weapon and a beautiful thing to watch. I look forward to many more yet to come this season and hopefully beyond.

Lin/Davis PNR

Yup. But teams will scout it better. Would like a nice counter play just in case teams take that away from them.

Agreed. However, with the chemistry that they have already developed so quickly, I'm sure they are already working on something new.

Another role player who might get a big contract due to Lin.

I love their chemistry together. I hope we re-sign both of them this summer.

i suspect teams would be looking for that going forward. they would probably sag on lin and double on davis and clog the paint.

the way for lin to counter this is to take the mid range jumper they'll be giving him.

Jeremy Lin is a pleasant surprise. I hope he stays healthy. If he and Kobe are compatible we'll be a team that will surprise some teams and please Laker fans.

Once Swaggy is back, we call the Lin, Swaggy, Davis group "LSD."

Did you make that up by yourself? I'd like to hear you improvise in the courtroom.

Well the benefit of the Lin/Davis pick and roll is that even if teams try to scout it Lin is a capable shooter that can pull up from mid range, he is also fantastic at finishing at the rim. So if teams scout it by overcrowding Davis, Lin is more than capable of scoring given how the defense plays it.

That's why the pick and roll works so well with those two.

For better I've moved out of litigation and in-house. So more time on LG and less stress.

True plus Lin has vision enough to reset or kick it out if he has to.

Looks like Lin is playing like he did in New York. It doesn't seem like he's under pressure like he was in Houston.

Lin should start no matter what. it should happen that creates less stress on Kobe.

Rice/Clarkson can play backup PG

If he can handle the double teams he's going to see, he'll be OK.

He's having fun again!
He obviously needed a change and change is good for growth.

I'm happy for him to be back home

Currently Lin is needed for the offensive firepower of the bench along with the combination of him and Davis while Nick Young is out. But the most important thing is he's finishing games.

I disagree. Our offense is stagnant with the current starters. We can't force Kobe to shoulder as much of the load as he has been. Lin needs to start. Clarkson and Randle can both get into the paint with the ball off the bench, but right now we barely have that in the starting lineup.

Randle and Clarkson seem to love having run of the place when the starters are out. I think Price is perfect with them. Honestly, the bench is the bench. We don't need to overthink how to get the most out of the bench when the starters are rather questionable to begin with. Get your best players out there to start and end games. It's not like we have some established winning formula we're trying to hold on to.

Right now Lin & Davis are playing lights out basketball.

Jeremy Lin's energy and motor is infectious.

Lin needs to start in order for us to get out quickly instead of staggering out of the gates.

Do you guys think the Lin/Davis duo can be as good as Stockton/Malone? IMO, they will be even better. Kobe can be our Jeff Hornacek. Championship is as good as ours if we play with the same gritty style as the Sloan Jazz.
