Nash and Sacre for Hibert. Who plays center for Indie? Pacers can get far far more for hibert. A junk pick, an expiring, a 5 minute/game center. Pass. |

Add in Kelly and/or Clarkson, or maybe just wait for Hill.....
Btw, an elite shot blocker with Randle, add in a point defender, and you have a GREAT team in just a year or two...... _________________ Jesus saves, but Vishnu reincarnates! |

I agree if you can get Hibbert for basically nothing you do it. Randle will be more successful behind an elite shot blocker. |

I don't think Kelly and Clarkson are nothing though. Kelly could be a game-changer, once he steps out on the court. Not a huge slew of that kind of size and shooting out there, and he fits with almost any offense.
However, a true shot blocker with Randle could be the franchise move. _________________ Jesus saves, but Vishnu reincarnates! |

I wonder if Orlando would give up Tobias Harris in a deal involving Nash and the pick. I read that they're far apart in negotiations. |

I think Indiana would want more than that in return for Hibbert. Maybe involve a 3rd team to send Hill to?
If we trade with Indiana I'd also want Copeland who would give us a much needed backup SF and is a great 3pt shooter. |

I agree with Ventura. Package Nash, Hill and Sacre for Hibbert. They get cap relieve and a short contract in Nash/Hill and an extra big in Suckre. Randle and Hibbert is a solid future front court. Hibbert and Davis would have a block party. |

please we need to stop including draft picks like they are hot cakes. We need to keep all of our draft picks especially in a rebuilding stage. Look how a couple of draft picks rejuvenate our roster ( with youth and talent in Randl/ clarkson) |

I wasn't paying attention to the details I actually like Clarkson a ton. I do really think he needs a shot blocker though. |

We bought clarkson's pick.
Randle was the result of the worst season.
I think houston will Be a mid 20s pick. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Man getting Tobias would be huge cause his cap hold would be so small. We could maybe resign Lin, sign a max guy, and the resign Tobias. I would be willing to give up Kelly Clarkson for him. Not sure if I would include the pick. |

I don't feel bad for him one bit, he jacked the Lakers for millions. When you can not possibly complete your end of the deal because you are physically unable, the ethical thing to do is retire, not collect money for no services rendered. This whole off-season of Nash coming back has turned out to be a nice charade, a 10 million dollar free ride on the injured reserve. |
Ethical? The NBA has guaranteed contracts for a reason, and one of those reasons is injury protection for the players. Nash has every ethical right to do what he's done. |
Ethically, he should have retired because he couldn't deliver what he was being paid for. He didn't even come come close to delivering his services, wasn't even able to take the floor once in the final year due to his body telling him career is over. Ethically he should have accepted a retirement settlement because he could no longer play, time to retire, can't physically do the work anymore, can't fulfill his side of the contract. Contracts are guaranteed so players can't be arbitrary cut, I get that. Legally, well that is another matter all together. Legally he gets paid, but ethically he is merely a thief. |

I think you might not know the definition of the word ethical. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Hate to say it, but it's looking like a blessing in disguise right now. Lin can get the starter's minutes at PG now and Clarkson will actually get to see the floor. Nash is more valuable to us on the bench, getting in these guys' ears, than he is playing at this point in his career. |

Hibberts numbers still look pedestrian even in preseason. I don't understand why some are so bent on giving up a pick for him. It's not like he's cheap either. Would much rather keep the pick and pursue other FAs/trades |

Agreed. It's so crazy how people on this forum are stuck on Hibbert. |
