Anyone know how many games he's gonna miss?

Season starting on Tuesday, and I haven't really heard an update as of late.

I believe he's still expected to return December 1, which means he'll miss the first 17 games.

Young, who underwent successful surgery on a torn radial collateral ligament in his shooting right thumb, is expected to be out approximately eight weeks, which would put him back on the court sometime around Dec. 1. He'll miss all eight preseason games, and -- based on that Dec. 1 date -- 17 regular season contests.

Found this cool article doing a search on young
http://instreetclothes.com/2014/10/04/breaking-nick-youngs-thumb-injury/

Anyway, Nick's agent said eight weeks. That could be an undercommit, overperform situation. Nick just signed a MY deal so from a business standpoint conservative is the best PR.

LA has a 4-game homestand starting Nov 23rd. Hopefully Nick is back by then. After that they hit the East Coast through Dec 5th.

Well lets hope he can make a swift recovery and return... cant wait to see what he contributes to this team, be on the watch of chemistry with Lin and Kobe.

I predict a 20ppg season for Young. He's gonna change the dynamic of this team drastically.
