Suppose Dallas gets Barea. They'll have Jameer and Mekel who had some great games in the preseason. They'd rather develop him than have Felton be a 3rd string whiner.

Not sure if this works under the CBA. Cuban could pay all of Felton's salary this year and in exchange for him not opting in next year. Raymond can make up the difference via team picking him up, rather than wasting the whole year pouting and further devaluating his market.

It's a tricky pickup for the Lakers because of the baggage, physically and otherwise, Felton has. But if he gets in shape, and a BIG if, and gets back to being D'antoni's Felton, we could have a great backup.

Why can't the poll just say "yes" or "no"?

If we needed guns in the locker room we can just get arenas.

If he would pout in Dallas, I'm just imagining his reaction to being told he's backing up Lin and Price.

Absolutely, he is a defensive STALWART. we need him to help build JLin's confidence in practice. Alternatively we could just use a (very very fat) cone.

Be careful, though. Raymond claims he's not so Squishy anymore.

He has a 4.5 million player option for the 15-16 season which he will no doubt pick up. So absolutely not.
