OK, we are better than the preseason. At least for the first 10 games, go for 5-5!

I wonder if we're the only team playing all Western Conference teams for the first 10.

With the hard schedule it looks to be a 24 win season at best, and that's if Kobe plays 60+ games. West is just too tough of a conference to win games in, most of the wins will be against the eastern conference.

And all likely playoff bound or just out of the playoffs. This is going to be a tough first month.

I really doubt it's gonna make a difference... if we are to be a good team we can't make those excuses... or else we will even end up worse with all the negative mindset.

Back to back games. 4 games in 6 nights. It matters.

6 Home games out of the first 10 games is the only good news of the schedule.

3 back to backs with the last back to back being 4 games in six days is brutal.

At least that means more to watch for us. Only positive I can think of.

This is really going to test Kobe's durability and Scott's ability to manage Kobe's minutes.

Why is our schedule harder than any other Western conference team? We all play the same teams.

Rockets W - Houston is likely to underestimate us.

Suns L - We might be weakened after the Rockets game and its our first back to back of the season.

Clippers W- it's clippers first back-to-back + we may just surprise them.

Warriors L - our next back-to-back - not likely to recover after having to face Clippers.

Suns W - We ought to be more familiar with their play hopefully having learnt from our first confrontation with them.

Hornets W - I think we have the ability to win this.

Grizzlies W - its 50-50 but I lean towards lakers because of my personal bias nothing else.

Pelicans L - Unless we have other players back - tired legs woud be our undoing here.

Spurs W - A surprise win but Spurs usually start their season slowly and builds up.

Warriors W - Revenge time and we are at home - so lean towards our win.

So my optimism expects a 7-3 in favor of Lakers - but that's just my bias showing
