People think we can't beat the Clippers, has anyone watched the Clippers in the pre-season? They looked terrible, way overrated. Things have changed on that team, mentally not the same.

Yes, I predict that this is the year that the Clipper players begin sniping at each other and internal conflict will be present. And I think that will lead to personnel changes at the deadline or the end of the season.

3-7, and that's being positive. More likely 2-8 or 1-9.

Depends on how they do tonight. Preseason is not a good gauge.

Hawes finishing games with jordan on the bench may be interesting.

lol ... it's easy to drop an unrealistic prediction especially if there's nothing at stake. If something of value were on the line, we'd get your honest and true prediction.

Good lord.

At least that means more to watch for us. Only positive I can think of.

depending on how they play, it might actually be painful. hah.

That's why I picked 2-8.

There is only one game I feel confident about, and that is the second time we meet Phoenix at home. The Lakers will have a couple of days to rest up.

We have a good shot against Charlotte. They're a marginal EC playoff team (which is a real qualifier) and they'll be playing at Staples.

We have a lesser shot against New Orleans, but then we'll be on the second leg of a back-to-back and they'll be rested up. NO will also be hosting.

Odds are we'll win 2 out of those 3 games.

Charlotte I have chalked up as a loss. Kemba/Lance, with MKG to give Kobe some defense with his length, plus their tough frontcourt spearheaded by Al Jefferson. That's a tough team, plus Clifford is an excellent defensive coach.

I feel like when Lance is guarding Kobe, Kobe is going to try to do a bit too much (let Lance get under his skin a little with his antics) to quiet him down. While Kobe is still the Man, I think we'll see that for young bucks like Lance, it's a chance to try to take a shot at the Man while he's not in his prime anymore.

Oh yeah? Well you naysayers will regret your doom and gloom when we finish out the first 10 games at 2-8.

1-9 is my prediction. Other then maybe the Hornets. Can't see the Lakers beating any of them teams in front of them in the first 10.

Hard to beat the Bobcats when they're no longer in the NBA. #Hornets.

I agree. We can beat them. Doc is the most over rated coach in the league. They actually took a step back when he became coach (either though they signed a ton of players). It amazes me how everyone seems to always be kissing his azzss.

I'm a die hard fan bue also realistic. We won't beat the Clippers. You may not like him but he's a good coach. Some pundits are picking them to win the west

And maybe the Griffin-CP3 dynamic changes. Blake works his butt off in the of season, he might want more burn.

1-9 with the only win against CHA. They're the Hornets, not the Bobcats! Maybe the home game against PHO.

Just my take that Doc is over rated. He is the most over rated coach in the league (in my opinion). His Magic teams were under performing. The Clips are also an under performing team. On paper, they have more talent than anybody in the league BY FAR. They have done DICK.

We are all die hard fans on this site so that goes without saying. The original OP was talking about the first 10 games and someone said we can beat the Clips. I agree. I am not saying we are better, but I can see us beating them just like we did at the start of last season.

The Clippers may very well w in the West. I like Doc because he coaches. If he's as good as I think he is CP3 may get his first ring

Exactly how I feel.

This is the worst opening day roster since I became a Lakers fan back when John Hadl was the QB of Rams.
