I've said it before, I'll say it again.

Time.warner.curse.

All of this started once they struck that deal. The second they forsook their fans and took them off kcal in pursuit of greed. It's ill gotten gold, and this is the price....

Cp3
Dr buss passes
D12 leaves
Nash injuries
Kobe injuries
Randle injuries

It's real gentlemen. How long is this deal again? 20 years?

"The Veto"

Somehow, the fates of the two LA teams got switched ever since then.

They got CP3, we got Nash
They got Doc, we got Mike n Mike
They lost Sterling, we lost Doctor Buss
They got Ballmer, we got Jim...

The list can go on and on...ever since that Veto, the Clippers have stolen our mojo!!

This could be it.

Also, there was a toddler that fell off a ledge at staples center during a lakers game a few years back and died. It was a tragic, tragic accident. Not sure how it was handled. Maybe observe a moment of silence on anniversary or acknowledge incident. I know it's something they'd rather not talk about, but not for nothing, maybe spirit is not at peace. Or maybe the Lakers are just having some really, really, really, bad luck. Get well soon J.R.!

no curse.

Just a result of poor and ill advised decisions by our management.

It's the curse or karma of the Phil Jackson hiring/snub. We were ok after the veto. Still managed to pull trades etc. The karma started when instead of hiring Phil Jackson, they double-downed on Steve Nash by hiring MDA. And might I add with the way Jim and Mitch (and the late Jerry) handled the Phil Jackson thing is coming back to hunt them over and over.

I'll lay it out..

I once heard Jeanie say "oh operations isn't my thing".. i'm sure she's been LED to believe that by a daddy who didn't want to push and a bf that wanted the role for himself.

So, DrBuss left the silly child in charge because the smart one wasn't so smart at the time and would have handed "control" over to the guy who won't marry her.

Either she tries to step up as the one with most potential, or all goes to hell. If they both just sit there and accept what's given, they're not worthy of it anyways. Sell out to someone who's not just settling for their inheritance.

That's the curse.

Several years back the organization unceremoniously ditched Phil and his entire crew-- along with a large number of longtime Laker staff during the lockout season. ***Even announcing they would be letting staff go DURING the playoff run***

Ever since then, the team has been "cursed".

This is what I get for bashing on my buddy all these years for being a Clips fan.

Oh, the ironing.

You do know that Phil left for health reasons don't you? He was never ditched.

Jeannie is in complete charge, what happens is with her at the helm. And I have no reason to doubt her.

I think there is a bad omen hoovering over the Lakers, and I think it has more to do with the Buss kids' greed. The Lakers have been hurting ever since they took the games off of KCAL 9 and made us pay TWC or Direct TV. As I recall, that's when weird stuff started happening.

This thread is perfect for anti-Laker FOODER to be used on QFTOS by the 29 other NBA teams

(it needs to go away)
