I think its time for our storied franchise to do some serious re-branding. Maybe they do it after Kobe retires or trade him I don't know but it needs to be done and Jeanie needs to start working on it soon. We need to redesign the logo, new uniforms, redesign our floor. We also need a new face to be the face of the franchise. Hopefully Jeanie gets to work on these because we're starting to look stale out there.

I make valid points, there is nothing dumb about this thread. Lakers need to improve the product they are putting out there for the fans. We just got embarrassed on national television. Lakers need to do something that the fans can be excited about.

Sorry, but nobody cares about the uniforms if they are losing and losing badly. What the Lakers need are a a better roster to contend, and that doesn't happen overnight. |

Let's rebrand the team that the NBA's logo played for, and turned the league into a national and international household name. Sharp thinking!

Great post, man. Its obvious that our uniforms, logo, color scheme and court design have been holding us back for years. Simply changing these elements will dramatically improve the franchise.
If we had a new logo there's no way Julius Randle gets hurt. |

We don't need a new roster. That isn't the problem. New uniforms would've solved all this. Hell, we need a new name. If we were called the "Los Angeles Awesome" the Chris Paul trade would've gone through, Dwight would've stayed and Julius Randle would've played 82 games a year. Damn you, traditionalists! |
