Pau I love you but if you dribble the ball off your foot one more time...

Looks like Pau is taking a step back on offense now, mainly getting his as a bailout option and concentrating most of his energy on the defensive glass and moving his feet on D. He can always score more if needed later, so pretty smart. Really good to see Butler coming alive in a big way today. He's been off lately.

NBA record. Best quarter I've ever seen.

9-9 from three

13-13 in the quarter

Just crazy

The power of the DVR. I watched the last nine minutes of the third quarter three times.

I'm in Oakland right now so no way around it. Now that's it's no longer live I can watch the rebroadcast..

Haven't seen anything like it. They were like 60-60 with Sactown and then BOOM BOOM BOOM. Just spectacular. That's really being in the zone. He's easily the best two guard in the division and probably the best in the league because he plays both way. Had like four steals and two blocks as well.

Wow they black out local games there? Never heard of that for basketball.

LOL. Whoops, I thought you meant that you were blacked out (ie unconscious) for the game, not that the local stations blacked out the game for you.

an absolutely ridiculous nine minute stretch for klay and so much fun to watch. other than that 3 that went in after a couple bounces, none of his long shots even touched the rim. unbelievable to score that much with only two points coming from the free throw line. was actually yelling at him when he threw that lob to holiday because at that point i just wanted to watch him shoot. loved his teammates looking to set him up and get him the ball, loved watching his teammates go nuts on the sidelines almost as much as watching him shoot -- they're a team that genuinely seems to like and root for one another and it really showed. also watched the post-game interviews with both him and kerr, and both guys are class acts and make it easy to root for them.

in other news, all but 6 of their 36 wins have been by double digits. they lead the point margin by a landslide (+12.07 vs atl's +7.16) and this is probably underestimating if nothing else because they keep sitting everyone at the end of blowouts. they'd still win the point margin if you only took their leads at halftime vs everybody's else's throughout the game. equally impressive, nobody on the team is in the top 40 for minutes played (curry's the highest at 45 with 32.9), they've dealt with injuries, and kerr has managed to sneak in some dnp rest days. only time will tell how this translates in the post season but they're having an incredible run right now.

hawks have been incredible as well, just haven't been able to catch as many games without league pass. looking forward to the hawks vs warriors game to get a better gauge of both teams.

Hitting someone's arm after a jump shot being a foul is one of the dumbest "new interpretations" the nba has introduced in recent years. Their body and legs I can understand but their arm on the follow through is just stupid.

Heat making the Bulls look silly. Rose and Pau the only two playing well. Butler is struggling as is the rest of the team. Kirk Heinrich actually air balled two open shots in a row by a foot, which I don't think I've ever seen in the NBA. Going to be a lot of unhappy people in Chicago today if the Bulls don't rally.
