Where the (bleep) was this lineup yesterday?
Donnie went sabermetrics. he pulled almost all the left handers because of Bumgarner.

Also, there was the night game/day game factor. The older players were going to play in one or the other and Mattingly adjusted according to the opposing pitcher.

Where are all of you watching the game? Ribeye, I know you live up north. I've been reduced to (bleep) streams - anyone have any better ideas?

I live in San Diego county now for work, so I just subscribe to MLB TV with no problems. (Except when they're playing the Padres, in which case I have to mask my IP/location)

But I set up my family with my MLB TV and I set up a VPN to mask the IP/location so that it won't be blacked out.

unblock-us is what I have been using and it allows you to use MLB TV freely across many devices (my family uses a smart blu ray player to stream directly to the TV). And it's only 5 bucks a month. Easy to set up too.

With MLB TV premium and unblock-us, it's only 30 bucks a month for care free streaming right on your TV if you have a streaming device you use with your TV that has an MLB TV app available.

Haha. Everyone knew that Puig thought he could get a double on that. Glad he realized he couldn't as quick as everyone else did

Listening at work, but sounds like Kendrick just made a hell of a play.

bases loaded, 2 outs, dove, arm stretched high to catch a line drive towards center. really quick play.

Like Vin said, easily 2 runs

New blood? OK. Grandal? Not sold. The Dodgers got rid of two (1 1/2) liabilities up the middle, only to add one--a .171 vs. the .167 hitter. I get that there is only so much you can do, and the team, apparently, wasn't getting much of an offer for Kemp, and there were not a lot of catchers out there, but the Padres got Derek Norris . . .

we're like 15 games into the season. ellis batted .191 for a full season. if you don't think he's an offensive upgrade over ellis, then you have no idea what you're talking about.

Thank you for that wisdom. He is an offensive upgrade and may be an over-all upgrade. But he is a .167 catcher who hit .225 last year, .216 the year before, and is not known for his defense or his arm. He just isn't anything special or even close.

ok. so he's obviously an offensive upgrade, and he's at least as good as a.j. defensively (inb4 you bring up skewed stats once again to make a point). no one said he was anything special, but he's an overall upgrade.

he was traded for Kemp which was lopsided but we were able to afford to get rid of an outfielder, and thus far, it hasn't hurt us at all. we're hitting for more power this year then when we had our 2 hr hitters in the lineup. I fail to see why having grandal as our catcher annoys you so much.

Rollins is washed up. His batting average is now a pathetic .193

Well, since you don't like caught-stealing percentage or Rtot (zone fielding runs average), or zone rating, or fielding percentage, or catching ERA or passed balls, perhaps you could tell me what I should consider.

Can we fire Mattingly yet? Dude is the worst manager i have seen. No idea why he took Alex Guerrero out, dude was 2-3, but naw, lets bring in Rollins who is batting .200 and move Turner to 3rd!
