Congrats to all. I thought they were all borderline, as was Turner, but he had some comp at his position.

Hopefully Joc enters the home run contest.

thought Kersh might get in just out of respect and the strikeouts. Not stunned. On the position players. I thought Joc was definitely going to be in. Other 2 were maybes.

It's going to be sad that Clayton probably won't win this. The Cardinals fans will stuff the vote for Martinez.

Compared to Matt Holliday's season this year, they're all HOFers.

Grandal definitely deserved his spot from an offensive perspective. The only thing really holding him back was number of plate appearances and his defense (though his pitch framing is top notch):

Kersh has a shot. He's the best known of the group. He might not have earned it this year, but he does have some serious recent history and one of a very few pitchers to win MVP.

He should be in over Bumgarner but Bochy has to pick his guy or he'll never hear the end of it.

Oh well, Kershaw gets a week of rest. Might be better in the long run.

So happy they all made it. Was surprised Grandal was selected. I have a pretty big man crush on him right now.

It is hilarious how bad Yimi Garcia has been. Every time he gives up a hit, he looks like he is about to cry; no mental toughness. I don't know why Donnie trusts him - I would think they are showcasing him, but he isn't doing much of anything. Other than his first 10 innings this season, he has been pedestrian or worse.

Should never pitch unless it's a blowout.

A-Gone with the DP. So much for piling it on Billingsley. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets his revenge with the way we hit...

We straight up robbed the Padres. Man Kemp has been terrible this year.

Anyone who could look at his previous accomplishment and predict he'd be hitting near where he is, and that Kemp would be hitting .242 should head to Vegas this very second and cash in on such genius. Grandal had a lifetime OPS of .763 and now its .915; Kemp went from .845 to .641.

Wouldn't be a stretch to predict Kemp would revert to his 2014 first-half numbers, being a year older and playing most of his games in Petco park. Grandal is a pleasant surprise though.

I liked the Kemp trade because I was worried about his health and we needed to get rid of an outfielder. I didn't think he would just be this bad offensively. I thought Grandal would be good but not this good.

I know but Kobe-Reloaded was really, really high on Grandal and the trade in general during the off-season. I was one of those that thought we could have gotten more for Kemp. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic with the way things are turning out.
