When it comes to Grandal & Rollins, I know they're switch hitters, but both of them are so much better as lefties, I don't know if I see the benefit of sending them out their right handed, even if the pitcher is a lefty.

I'd call Grandal's .378 BA and .452 OBP batting right-handed a benefit. He just happens to hit all his homeruns left-handed.

just like Mantle. Power on one side, avg on the other.

I did not realize that, but upon checking, he seems to be consistently a better hitter right handed from his average through his slash numbers:

RHB: .330 .424 .574 .998
LHB: .281 .418 .546 .965

Joc hitting .223. Noah Syndergaard could sneak up and take the ROY honors if these trends continue (especially since he's got the East Coast factor, dump franchise now hot factor, etc).

I think Joc lost it a long time ago. He's tied for sixth in WAR (BBR), .1 ahead of Syndergaard. The way he is hitting, he will drop to eighth, at least.

Also, his defense has slipped as well, as he's now only about average for his position, measured by WAR or UZR.

Doyers playing in Philly now. Joc just drew a walk. I think he needed to be reminded of what happens after ball 4.

Lol - 2nd and 3rd, no out, and the Dodgers get nothing out of it. Add to that, the fact that you got there with your pitcher and Rollins.

Wood might've been able to score if that damn fan didn't get in the way, and grab that ball.

not the way he was running. I actually think the fan did the Dodgers a favor. It guaranteed Wood reached third.

This Wood guy sure as hell isn't fooling anyone. At least Latos looks good. Didn't look good the prev. inning, but got a lucky DP.

We have left too many runners on base in this game. Could come back to haunt us.

Joc draws his third walk. They must have some kind of shock treatment on him for when he swings at bad pitches.

I've been defending Guerrero, but wow he's had a bad game tonight.

Turner can't come back soon enough.

Dodgers specialty of making the opponent's worst pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate. Much like how the Lakers are with opposing PG's.
