1 hit shut out for Grienke thru 6 innings. Pitch count at 89. We could get 8 innings from him tonight.

Typical Dodgers. More runners left on base. I think that is 8 or 9. If we lose this will be the reason.

Ughhh - horrible spot here for Greinke. Sometimes I wonder if batting takes pitchers out of the game.

Depends on fitness level. For me, stretching for a double or triple with 2 outs and leadoff gets out on 1 pitch will likely leave me a little winded for the next inning. For someone like Broxton or Billingsley, just walking to the plate is likely going to lower their stamina by half.

Great job getting out of that by Greinke (even though we were kind of gifted the first out) - the guy has balls.

Good boy Joc. Maybe the embarrassment of being slotted after the pitcher will get him fired up.

Joc looked really fired up with that HR. I'm hoping he feels a little relieved and begins to turn a corner.

Bad idea leaving him in - I would take Greinke out.

Just as I said...

I was seeing bad pitches, and was seeing him getting hit way too often/easily.

I don't trust our bullpen. All those runners we left on base could haunt us.

Yes! We have a choke hold on these suckers. 5 1/2 games ahead in the division (6 in the loss column). Kershaw pitching tomorrow. Get out the brooms!

I'm leaning no after Utley was acquired. Turner is back. Howie in another week.

Perfect time to start playing well. Giants can have their cute little sweep of us in March/April. We'd rather sweep when it matters.
