Exactly, we shouldn't rely on a project pick anyway. We have cap room we can simply plug in the holes with players who have proven themselves in the league. I'm glad the team is playing well, good to have swag back

Its too bad they don't have a big man....I think if Pau had stayed, they could very much be a threat to be a playoff team with Swaggy P's outside shooting, Kobe's drive, and interior presence that Pau would've provided.

I think it definitely helps having another legit scorer out there. You notice that once Nick Young surfaced the Lakers have been back in games with Kobe playing like this. If Boozer wouldn't play like ass and go back to being All-Star Boozer then this team could win the next game as well.

Or if byron would just swap Booz and Davis's minutes

It's going to be a long season with some tough stretches. The Lakers need someone who can keep things loose and keep a positive attitude in locker room. Swaggy is that guy. JLin and Mamba aren't exactly cheerleaders...

No impact on defense, we still suck. So winning 20 games will be a great season.

So many 8th seed votes...you had to be a .600 team to make it to the playoffs last year in the WC. Looks like that'll be the case this year too. Which is ridiculous. There's no chance of us playing that well to get 8th seed, especially since we would have to play even better than that to make up for this really bad start.
