Video game wise this year, there was nothing good at Amazon's Lightning Deal page. Disappointing.
I noticed there weren't many deals in general on Amazon this year.
You have to get in on the lightning deals. There were a lot of goodies to be had.
Yea. I picked up wwe2k15 for 30 bucks and COD: AW for 40.
For PS4/XB1? (bleep), I would've bought that. I glanced at the lightning deals earlier and didn't see GTA V, Far Cry 4, AC Unity, etc, as expected, and didn't even bother looking back.
Bought Shadow of Mordor for the PS4 for 25 bucks. The xbox store was selling Titanfall and all DLC for 12.50, so I snapped that up too.

Yeah it's really good with tons and tons of content. 8 man matches are amazing and there's a bunch of stuff going on at once at all parts of a stage. Plus with all games coming out recently pretty much unfinished and with all kinds of bugs it's refreshing to see one finished and running very smoothly. Only thing that bugs me is there is no Adventure mode like Brawl. Even if it's mediocre give me something with a story. Overall 9.5 for me.

Did you ever happen to play Playstation All Stars? I tried that game recently and it didn't seem nearly as fun. Which was weird because the mechanics are similar. Maybe I'm just not into that type of game anymore? But man I used to play the hell out of the old Smash bros games.

Nah man I'm an Xbox fanboy so I hate anything Playstation. I bought the Wii U in the summer because of MK 8 and not playing a Nintendo console since the GameCube. So kinda like you, I came into the new Smash without much experience since Melee. Played a little of Brawl a couple of months ago but really not that much. If you are considering getting a Wii U, you definitely should, it's worth it. Not only for Smash but MK 8 is awesome, Hyrule Warriors too, Bayonetta, 3D World, Tropical Freeze, Wind Waker, and a couple of others.
The only major purchase for me was the White PS4 Destiny Bundle. The BF deal was $399.99. I got it off a tigerdirect ebay sale so no sales tax. Plus used $150 worth of ebay gift cards I bought like an hour earlier for $135.
Was deciding between the One/PS4. Might regret it for exclusives but for the most part I play 3rd party games. No game I really want for it at the moment. I guess Dragon Age Inquisition if I find a deal for it. The lowest I saw it for was $50. I guess because it just came out, but I saw other games that just came out for cheaper.
Will look at the game deals for cyber monday and maybe a PSN plus card. That is another reason I chose PS4 over One seemed like better free games per month with PSN plus.

I sold Titanfall before the first DLC came out, but at that price, I think I am going to have to buy it again. I sold it for more than $12.50 so easy decision.
+1. Think I'll hold out as well. Was able to get my PS3 repaired a few months back, so that should tide me over til then. Don't even have that much time to play these days anyway. PC for Gaming and WiiU for consoles, you lose out on a small small ammount of exclusive games, but gain so much more.

I've heard Shadow of Mordor is really good. I should have snagged it for $25. Best Buy and Walmart, I think, were selling it for the same price.
