Last year's BF was a bit too much for me.
I bought a lot of things just staying home and going online.

PS4 bundled with Lego Batman 3 and Little Big Planet 3 for $399 at Toys R Us. In store only, though. Also offering the GTA 5 and Last of Us for same price. Seems to be the standard bundle.

If you want a taste of the Black Friday crowd in advance, just go down to your local DMV and check out the people there.

They will be the ones in the "non-appointment" line that stretches out into the parking lot.

The DMV lines are organized....
Nobody is potentially going to run you over like a stampede of elephants, which is what a Black Friday crowd is when the doors open. Not to mention the free for all at the Walmart for a cheap toaster oven or fist fights over a laptop....

Video game deals this year SUCK. The only thing on my list right now is NBA 2k15 for the PS4 for $30 at Best Buy.

22 days equates to about 15 work days at 40 hours a week, 120 hours total, at minimum wage 8 bucks is over 700 bucks after taxes. So they lose over 700 bucks not being productive yet think they're saving money on black friday?

Unplanned pregnancies who turned into unplanned DMV visits.

I'm looking for a steal on a 128 SSD and some nice knee-length Nike tennis shorts.

While we appreciate the breakdown, I doubt these fine folks are silly enough to actually WORK for their money. Myself and most of us on here are likely the ones supporting these people via our taxed wages. They're just livin the dream. Hopefully, someday I can get there too.

Pretty sure Amazon had a ton of SSDs up on their "Lightning Deals" last year. You've got to be on it though cuz they go pretty quick.

Exactly. I went to the one in San Pedro last week and had an appointment. I was the only person in the appointment side when I got there.

The non-appointment line was at least 150 people long and literally stretched out into the parking lot.

Bonus points for bringing a screaming baby with you while you stand in the non-appointment line for 3 hours while those with appointments are gone in 15 minutes.

There are some, but mostly it's Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday is a bust....there isn't much stuff for sale unless you like 10% off or free shipping.
I think Newegg and Amazon have their own sales for PC parts, their sales aren't out yet.

A few months ago, I went to the DMV in Pasadena without an appointment. Expired license, and didn't even know it.

Got my #, renewed and out the door in less than an hour.

So YMMV based upon the DMV office. At least they have an orderly system these days.

Get the mobile app for 2k. I get half of my VC from the app so I don't feel the need to grind anymore. Makes the game more fun to play.

Amazon was selling a Crucial 256 gig ssd for 90 bucks earlier this week. You may want to check if it's still available.

I saw that deal but the reviews show crucial's hardware to be much slower than other brands. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the advice. 2k14 was broken due to the aspect of VC. I used that VC glitch through MyGM to get crazy amounts of VC instead of putting in the effort of building my player from scratch.
