Not sure what there situation is.... but to be down 31-80 in the NBA is really laughable...... I hope karma bits them in the arse if they are tanking blatantly.
I know we should not laugh at them, but this is funny

76ers were up on the Rockets by one and if they played defense, they could've had their first victory. Wouldn't you know it, they parted the Red Sea for Har_en who scored easily and jubilation in Texas rained down for a win over a winless tank unit.

I remember when I first started watching in the early 90s and even bad teams weren't this pathetic.
I think owners have just gotten smarter.
I think for a long time, as fans you could separate teams into 1st round road kill or not championship contenders.
Owner finally wised up and because of the CBA, are just waiting it out for a top 10 player in the lottery.
If financially you can coup with it, its a great recipe, especially if you think you can offset the negative consequences down the line (fans being angry).

First time I have seen that.
Diando came up with it in the first game thread vs the Rockets and gotta say that it's found some life
The Battle of Phil's coaching tree, Denver sure limped in at the right time for the Knicks to snap that 7 game losing streak. The 8 pt second quarter isn't going to help matters.
Brian Shaw isn't going to see a year 3 at this rate. Philly is outtanking the battalion of 3 former-Laker-players-turned-coaches.

Unreal how lopsided the teams are in today's NBA.

That is because they didn't try to be then. They had to meet payroll and make a profit, so they couldn't sustain 4-5 years at the bottom. Now a team like Philly knows the profit sharing is there, and the couldn't care less if their arena is 40% full. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
