time to start giving scott some of the blame.
he's doing OBVIOUS things wrong. Like playing price over clarkson. And playing Kobe all these minutes, even when he is hurt, bricking everything, and the game is in garbage time.
and although i can't prove it... i suspect he is partly to blame for this teams complete inability to even compete. This philosophy of Jordan Hill taking a bunch of jumpers, no hockey assists, fast breaks, transition baskets, no corner threes. its obviously not working. |
That's the truth |

I am giving it until Christmas | i hadn't checked the schedule but i hope we aren't on national tv. it's embarrassing enough everyone is laughing or feeling sorry for us. Hard to believe not that long ago this organization was where it was. |
I believe the Christmas game is on TNT.......... | by that time we'll be like 5 and 25? |

We might have a shot if Klay and Curry go cold at the same time. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. |

true. if nash was starting and lin, randle, and young were coming off the bench we would have been a LOT better. |

I just ran through the games and my prediction is the Lakers have 6 wins on Jan. 1st. And honstly, that may be overly optimistic. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I don't understand what's going on. Seems that we could stay in the game in the first half, but always collapsed in the 2nd half? |

There needs to be a lot more off ball screens to create more offensive opportunities. Seems like after the first half hearted screen they're done trying. |
I think Kobe didn't suck. The guys shots weren't falling. He involved the team more, made some great passes that weren't converted, played disruptive defense until he got tired. His approach was good, his shots just didn't fall. |

Teams are just toying with us....
When they start to turn it on in the 3rd and 4th quarter offensively, we have nothing for them. |

Holy crap, I've never heard Kobe sound so tired and defeated in his post game interview. He was indeed sick today, but I've never heard him sound so dejected and uncertain about playing the next game. |

That poll either is rigged, shows basketball ignorance, a short term memory, or simply who is hated more.
Kobe still has as many Titles won as Duncan and hasn't had the luxury of being a 2nd/3rd and sometimes 4th option since 2008.
Kobe still has more WC Titles than Duncan, 7-6.
Kobe still has more 1st team ALL NBA selections than Duncan, the most ever.
Kobe still has more 1st team All NBA D selections than Duncan, the most ever, actually TD might be tied here.
Kobe will be the only 30,000, 6,000, 6,000 player ever, only MJ and Kobe only like 5,000, 1000, 1000 playoff players. Look that up forget the stat. Kobe will be 3rd in regular season scoring at least, 3rd in playoff scoring and 1st in AS game scoring.
Duncan's got more MVPs, but it's also clear Kobe got screwed out of at least 1.
How about we look at Kobe vs Duncan H2H in the playoffs?
Kobe series 4-2, Kobe record 18-10, and Kobe scores more and shoots a better % than Duncan does H2H. Kobe owned Duncan's Spurs.
Kobe's basically getting the opposite send off as Derek Jeter. Just getting hated on out the door by the media, never seen anything like it in sports for an all-time great, it's sad. |
Exactly just a bunch of gd h8rs. Dirt off your shoulders bruhs! |

We collapsed from the beginning. Trailed all games at half time - that's us |

Nash, Young, Randle, Ellington.
I mean that's 4 core players. This team would not be 1-8 if they were back. |

Kobe- looked good Defensively, but terrible offensively, forced alot of shots and passes
Lin- looked good defending Parker, played well early, got froze out the offense in the 3rd and early 4th, had 3 bad TOs and garbage min. Points again
Wes- trash, shouldn't be playing more than 15 min a game
Boozer - solid offensively, terrible Defensively (his career the past 5 years)
Hill- should not be the ball handler on the read and react plays, he's a terrible passer, needs to learn to set better picks and needs to roll to the basket on pnr, Hills leaving Lin and Kobe out to dry, and he stopped contesting shots in the 2nd half
Davis - great in limited min like in every game
Clarkson - looked solid, needs to take prices min.
Everyone else is a scrub |

Agree. Be honest, only Kobe is in top 50. The rest players are off top 100. So can't expect so much. |
