Clarkson is having a very strong season. The fact that he's playing PG again probably has a lot to do with that.

I think it's got everything to do with it. His passing out of the PNR was beautiful to watch, he's been a tremendous spark off the bench.

JC is showing this year how it pays to be patient with young players and let them develop. Believe it or not, but JC is leading the team in PER. He's also third in scoring on our team despite playing significantly fewer minutes than our top 2 scorers (Ingram and Kuzma).

This.

If he was amenable to jc being a high level 6th man (something a lot of us were saying) it would have been alright. He unfortunately kept saying that jc was WB lite.

It seems that Clarkson and Randle are playing good.
Even better than some starters. Wouldn't trade them at all
right now for they are part of the future.

The Lakers are one star player and Lonzo finding a shot from the playoffs.

Yeah both of those guys need more minutes. Randle has started to get more but would like to see them find some more minutes for Clarkson.

The teams Per 36 minute stats:

Clarkson: 24.1 points (48.5% fg, 37.1% 3p), 4.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals, -1.1 Net Rating, 19.1 PER
Lopez: 20.8 points (44.6% fg, 30.7% 3p), 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.6 blocks, -2 Net Rating, 17.1 PER
Randle: 19.9 points (55.1% fg, 20.8% 3p), 10.2 rebounds, 3 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.4 blocks, +1.7 Net Rating, 17 PER
Kuzma: 18.9 points (49.2% fg, 36.5% 3p), 7.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.2 blocks, -2.4 Net Rating, 15.2 PER
Ingram: 17.3 points (45.3% fg, 31.7% 3p), 5.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.8 blocks, -4.7 Net Rating, 12.5 PER
KCP: 14.4 points (41.8% fg, 36.8% 3p), 5.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.8 stelas, 0.3 blocks, -2.5 Net Rating, 12.4 PER
Nance: 14.2 points (58.3% fg, 0% 3p), 10.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.6 steals, 0.9 blocks, -8.6 Net Rating, 18 PER
Lonzo: 9.4 points (32.1% fg, 24.6% 3p), 7.5 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.1 blocks, -4.3 Net Rating, 10.5 PER

Magic and Rob need to convince Boogie and PG to take less (on shorter deals n time for 10 year extensions) to keep JC and Ju.

That squad would be dynamic.

He was fantastic last night and overall has played really well this season

If the objective is to win games, I would be cautious about dealing him.

I've been hard on JC in the past but he's played pretty damn good this year. He is not easily replaceable. Neither is Randle. I've been saying add PG to this group and see what happens. Never been a huge fan of Cousins.

I personally would prefer to keep JR/JC and add Cousins to the mix. A dynamic young big man would do wonders for this team. I think PG has been exposed a little bit this year. It's early but Indiana might actually be better this year with Oladipo. Not saying PG is damaged goods after the leg injury several years ago but I might prefer to keep JR/JC over adding him especially after Oladipo has put up better numbers in the same system PG played in last season.

Yesterday's Clarkson was PORN STAR JC. Great game.
Let's hope he doesn't come back to TUNNEL VISION JC.
