Just looked...wow lol |
Anything noteworthy? |
Responded to Shaqtin a fool putting up his play from yesterday by cursing, then RT’d and said “Word is Bond” on a video of Lamelo playing poorly overseas then RT a couple of Random things. I don’t even know what that “Word is Bond” thing means, did someone make him a promise and not keeping it? Lonzo? Whatever...lol
Swear to god these young guys should stay off of Social Media when they are unhappy....DLO liked a tweet and it was the last straw that got him traded. |
Taking shots at your teammates little brother via social media? That sounds like an insecure and jealous dude to me. Sorry Jordan, hopefully you can get the time you inexplicably think you deserve on the poor team that you end up on next. |
He took a shot at his teammate’s little brother? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

He must really love LA the way he's going about tanking his trade value. |

He’s getting worse and worse every game, the Lakers must be having a hard time trading him even with the talk that he’s the most valuable piece. |

I was thinking that lol
Why are you dropping your value! Haha
I can't believe early on in the season, I was wondering if JC was the one to keep over Julius |

I've said it before. Clarkson has removed himself from whatever Luke calls the team.
He's checked out and waiting for that trade.
So let's trade his ass. Be done with it. |

Last 5 games.
8.4ppg on 33% shooting
So yeah...... this dude has mailed it in. Trade him now before his value dips even lower. |

Since Clarkson is still on the roster, maybe the pick they are including isn't considered to be enough compensation for a team thinking about trading for him. |

Do you really think his trade value is still that low? I'm supposedly a Clarkson hater (according to adkindo) and even that seems extreme to me. |

During the summer, I had his trade value as even for an expiring.
He started off the season hot and then cooled off. So perhaps somewhat negative value requiring at least a second round pick once he cooled off.
Lately with Ball missing games and Clarkson some combination of unable/unwilling to function as an adequate PG, then his value should be even more negative.
The non-taxpayer MLE (Mid Level Exemption) will be about $8.6 million next season while Clarkson will be paid almost $4 million more at $12.5 million.
There are going to be maybe 8 teams with cap space above $10 million this summer.
The rest of the teams will have cap space under $10 million which is roughly equivalent to the non-taxpayer MLE ($8.6 million) and the taxpayer MLE ($5.3 million). The teams that use cap space will also have the Room MLE ($4.5 million) available to use.
Lou Williams will be a free agent this summer and he can get by as a temporary PG when he needs to. What is Lou going to get paid?
Will Barton will need a new contract as well. What is he going to get paid?
I don't see the Will Barton and Lou Williams types being among the eight most highly sought after players in the league, so they could be signing for MLE level money. How can a team justify paying Clarkson $12.5 million next season when the players in his peer group are likely to be signing for MLE money at $8.6 million?
In summer 2016, the money flow was huge and some free agents were overpaid by quite a bit. In summer 2018, the expectation is that some free agents are going to be underpaid quite a bit because of limited cap space and luxury tax concerns for multiple teams. |

Beautiful game by Clarkson agains the Pacers. He should watch game tape of how he played today - reminded me of the tail end of his rookie year. |

Watching his post game interview, it makes me sad that I want him traded.
I'm gonna miss him. Seems like a solid dude. |
