Jordan Clarkson, D’Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle look like they had a blast hosting the ‘Jason Bourne’ movie premiere

JORDAN CLARKSON, THE OVERLOOKED LAKER, IS READY TO BE SEEN

Quote:
Clarkson predictably salivates at the thought of playing for Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr's former right-hand man, who brings the schemes and sheen he acquired in the Bay Area. But Clarkson said that he's just as eager to continue alongside Randle and Russell. They are cognizant of the mantle they've inherited. They often share dinners, envisioning the next great Lakers teams with themselves at the forefront of a revival. In a way, Walton is no different from them: Young in his profession, but nevertheless tasked with making his mark on a very crowded mural. "I'm excited just to see how we all grow together," Clarkson said.

Sigh. Not being projected as a HOFer, or all-NBA player isn't an insult.

Especially when you have a $50 mil contract.

And JC has already proven doubters by:

1. Lakers buying a pick for him
2. Lakers signing him
3. Lakers giving him a starting position
4. Lakers giving him a $50m extension.

Sorry that not all of us feel he will be a superstar, but I (and a lot of us) respect and adore JC's work ethic and game. Not everyone can be a superstar.

I think he's a Filipino kid who's found an idol to worship like the Asian kids who follow Lin from team to team. He'll probably deny it though.

Projected him as a 6th man as you've done many of times is though. None of us know how great this kid can be. Let's see how it plays out.

LOL Dave20.

I've always said, he's the starter at SG unless we get someone better. You've conceded if we got WB, JC likely a 6th man.

We didn't get DRoz or WB, or any other better SG so...JC is our starter.

I've always projected starter level/6th man.

You're the one saying he's going to be an all-nba level player. Who is being unrealistic here?

He has the potential for more, but his shooting will make or break Dave20s hopes for him. He gets his 3 game to the high 30s low 40s and his athleticism will make him a star. (That and Laker fans will vote)

"Randle's innate understanding of what the position needs"

I appreciate Clarkson's recognition, but I have doubts if the dude have ever seen a Lakers game

Only Jordan can put a cap on his potential. The sky is the limit.

Clarkson's body lends itself less to the wing than the point, but that's now Russell's domain, who by Clarkson's own admission "might be a little better passer than me."

Looks like Clarkson is putting a cap on his potential, obviously a hater.

Jordan Clarkson Wasn’t Going To ‘Run Away’ From Challenge Of Building Lakers Back Up
*Thankfully the FO gave him 50 million reasons to stay!

Quote:
Clarkson was bound to have his fair share of suitors, the Missouri product had no intention of going anywhere.
Clarkson wanted to remain with the Lakers and despite the team’s struggles, he didn’t want to run away from the challenge of building this franchise back into a winner

I like how they make it sound like he was going to go to another team to make it a contender or something. He is a part of the current struggles of this franchise.

He could go to another team and be a role player sure, but he is staying on the team where he is a part of the young core that is expected to turn the ship around.

Working on defense is a big part of a player's work ethic, pare.

I propose "Cap. Potential" as JC's nickname.

Not necessarily.

"She's dating one and having a fling with another."

Maybe that news made JC's game of 1-12 shooting and having the announcer say "Should've brought Brandon Ingram instead!" more understandable... or that game led to her actions of finding another.

Either way JC should be fine. He's tizzight with Swaggy so that means no shortage of club life socialites to hook up with.

She's definitely with AsapRocky. They just became official. Good for the Lakers.

He does but so do everyone else. Everyone was awful last year. It takes a team effort to play good defense.
