I'm starting to dislike Jordan Clarkson now that he's gotten mixed up with the Kardashians and stopped improving. It's like a guy who wasn't even that good to begin with let the fame go to his head. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

It pisses me off when JC shoots under 40%. Let alone 30%. Lets alone at 25%. Let's get back to efficient JC.
It didnt help that Jose got injured and JC started the 2nd half. I know he's a pro and he should be able to adjust, but I'm sure it put a crinkle in his game. I wonder what his shot% was from 1st to 2nd half?
Idk I still see him as one of the Lakers if they made a trade out of the young players I think Clarkson would be the first to go pretty much know what you gonna get from Clarkson now every night pretty much same player he's been since he came in the league not saying he hasn't gotten better because he has made strides but not much a scoring guard out of the 2nd round not bad not

Wow totally off topic
A post about Jordan Clarkson in a thread about Jordan Clarkson is off-topic? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
He will definitely get traded. Doesn't look like he is a scorer or facilitator. Everytime he is on the court he makes stupid plays and the opposingteam starts rolling all over us. TRADE HIM ASAP!
He doesn't NEED TO LEARN how to create shots for his teammates he KNOWS how, he just refuses to do it because he thinks he's a superstar and will forgo what he knows is the best play because to him the best play is him looking to score which he thinks he's incapable of not doing.
Clarkson isn't a noob, he KNOWS how to find teammates, he KNOWS how to pass the ball, he KNOWS how to both attack and pass the ball at the same time when you make the defense adjust, he just REFUSES to do it because he wants to try to take over every second of the game as if he's the number 1 option.
THAT is what pisses everyone off.
I don't agree with you many times but I always respect your opinion and thoughts. And this time, I fully agree with everything you said here.
We have seen what Clarkson is really capable of. He has all the tools to create for himself and teammates properly, and he has done so before. His rookie year especially. That's the weird part. As a rookie, he was more of a playmaker than now. It's like his A button fell off the controller.
I want to see the Pornstar Control Clarkson. Crafty, drive and kicking, use his chemistry with Black to create more screen and rolls. THAT is the Clarkson we grew to love.
Not this Clarkson. This JC is basically a Monta Ellis clone. He is better than that.
Agree. The problem is not his skill, is about his mentality. If we really want to keep him in our team, what we should do is to put him back to the PG role in the 2nd unit when Ingram is moved to the starting lineup, forcing him to get familiar with facilitating the team offense again and adjust his "shoot first" vision. We don't have Nash anymore but we still have Caledron who can help him.
The way you people trash your own players is appalling. One bad play, one bad quarter, one bad half, one tough loss is all it takes and you flip like a switch. Lose a game and this place turns into flame city.
Yeah. We are a bunch of ingrates. Team playing out of their minds and exceeding expectations and we are complaining after losing a back to back with 2 starters and a key bench player missing.
Sometimes I wonder if we are ready for nice things. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

True. I didn't expect more than 34-35 wins before the season started, so it's all good to me. The one thing I'm concerned about is that a lot of our success is due more to old vets who may be gone in a couple years (Lou and Swaggy) than our young prospects. Might be a little bit of fool's gold in the long run. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Not having Dlo/swaggy and then add Nance it's catching up for everyone, especially on the road. JC I think was trying to pick up the scoring slack but just didn't happen. We need those 3 guys big time. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I think this is an accurate assessment of what happened last night.
Yeah it makes sense for Clarkson to try and carry the scoring load with Russell and Young out. As much as I want him to distribute more I can't blame him too much, the whole team is having a tough time right now. Losing Young and Russ is a major hit at what we like to do.

He should really be excelling with Young and Russell out, and this isn't the case. Clarkson is a pretty good player, but we have better versions of him in Lou and Nick. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets moved if the right deal comes about.

His shot is off lately. Defenses can focus more on him with teammates out. Scouting report catches up. He almost always goes right. _________________ We back.
When a guy hijacks a play and takes a selfish shot, all is forgiven when it goes in. The first few weeks of work the season, he was making every awful shot he threw up there so there was nothing to complain about.
Now that he has come back down to earth, there isn't a lot of patience for him overlooking his teammates so he can take his own shot instead.
