No hate, that miss on the 3 on 2 break was plain old stupid. But he redeemed himself later with some nice feeds to teammates for easy buckets. Young players make dumb decisions, we just have to live with that. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
Great game by JC and finally got 35 minutes. 19/3/2 and was +10. I also like how he got Zubac involved offensively. He has great chemistry with Ingram and Zubac.
Not really great, his decision making is often poor, but when we consider how awful was the play of our starting guard he somewhat deserved his minutes on effort angle.
Overall a good game and I will forgive his defense this time because he may not be completely health.
he is really looking good, despite taking a step back or having to sacrifice his game to accommodate others _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. But not as bad as Nick and Lou. However this is him against mainly 2nd units. I doubt Luke looks into making changes to the starting lineup because he's grooming JC as a 6th man, and I think that's a good idea too.
But if he wants to win games, maybe give JC a shot as a starter down the road. _________________ Austin Reaves

It's unfortunate that he has to sacrifice for players when most of us know he's better. He's not close to a finished product. Still 3 years away from his prime.

If that makes you feel better.
Thankfully, JC has a much better attitude and is really contributing to this team. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I miss his all round game from the first season where I still believe he was our best PG in years. I would not call it sacrifice not going after boards and moving the ball when someone else is free, but I agree about JC being mistreated as a prospect. With all the bad habits he has developed over the past two seasons I still enjoy watching a guard able to break down a defense playing for us, it's really unfortunate watching him developing his tunnel vision more than his huge potential distributing the ball after breaking down a defense.

Especially for a player coming off the bench that has to sacrifice his game for others. That tells me a lot. If he was a starter and was allowed to run the show he'd have a really good chance at making it at PG in a couple years.

You do realize Zaza Pachulia received top 3 votes for the West frontcourt. If only Kerr would give Zaza the keys... _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Totally different scenario with ZaZa. Clarkson made 1st team as the 46th pick not too long ago and he's still young. Clarkson passes the eye test for me and many other fans of different teams.

Yes. That "eye test" that said Droz would be a disaster on this team and that we had another "star" shooting guard and didn't need him.
Like the fans who voted for Zaza (mostly Georgian) and likely JC (my Filipino friends), let's not make too many extrapolations based on these fan votes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
