Still do. Clarkson/Randle/Hou pick for PG in the summer.

I think (even including our premium assets like DLO/Ingram), all the young guys may be a trade asset this summer for PG13.

Dlo and randle would get it done.

True but DLO is much more valuable to us than Clarkson and a late 1st round pick

I mean, I'd imagine in the offseason they'll take offers on him like they do just about every player, but they probably won't get an offer that appeals to them. And it's not like he's on a huge contract that is a burden. I'd argue he's making market, maybe even slightly below-market value for his production.

And likely would be more valuable to the Pacers as well. Likely one of DLO or Ingram would be included.

Me too. Make him sink or swim, and, for good or bad, eliminate any excuses. While it may help the team win more for now, protecting him by playing him in the second unit doesn't do him any favors and makes it difficult to really determine how good or bad he actually is.

I also do not think it is a coincidence he has regressed this season while coming off the bench, next to a shooter who took the ball out of his hands. I think the more Clarkson has the ball in his hands, the better he is and the more unselfish he plays. Taking it out of his hands brings out the worst of him - the pure gunner mindset.

+1

It's like: Do you want him with the ball more, maybe messing up some playmaking? Or do you want him just catching and attacking/gunning. I prefer the former - I think he can get better at it, less mistake prone.

I really miss JC from his rookie season or from the beginning of last season before hurting his ankle. I don't remember a PG playing at this level for us since Nick Van Exel left. He is a shade of himself.

Worst part about it is his uncle really loves him.

This was in my opinion his best game of the year. Made a couple of bone headed plays, but was doing a good job on the break, hitting his jumpers, and playing active defensively. More of this for the rest of the season please.

Unfortunately with no lou Jc is the operator of the 2nd unit. Not sure Ennis has much but we will see. Can't really start him bc with Ingram starting too who runs the 2nd unit?
