amazing... totally took over the team and won it for the Lakers!

this guy is a keeper, one of Mitch's rare draft picks that turned out really well.

Second 30 pts game as starter

5AST 1TO is not great, but it is an average to good stat line for a Lakers PG last few seasons.

Good player for his deal, still not what we need at the PG position IMO.

That's the Clarkson that reminded me of a George Hill. Seems he has more confidence as a starter... and not playing next to Nick or Lou.

5 assists to 1 TO is great when you're putting up 30

And we scored 129 points in 53 minutes. lol

I ain't mad at the guy who got the most touches in a game where we set a season-high in points.

Not so subtle.

I like a lot of Mitch's picks. But some of you got what you asked for, so lets see what Rob Lowe Pelinka can do.

Well, he wanted Okafor and Mitch passed on Tim 2.0

to be blunt, I think Mitch sucks with the draft. his tragic history with it has been well documented ever since he took over...

He wanted us to draft Okafor and we didn't. In the wake of the fact that Okafor is terrible, that's been revised to him wanting us to draft a big, like the rest of us don't remember, because bigs are magical or something. And he's resented the guy that we drafted instead even though he's significantly better than Okafor, and he's passive-aggressive about it any chance he gets, including while praising a guy who played awesome tonight and set a career high. Still has to get a jab in.

Now can we get back to Jordan Clarkson?

Actually he shifted back to Devin Booker after his performance today

The thought that Mitch didn't draft well is pretty silly. He took Bynum when everyone thought it was a real reach. He picked up Marc Gasol, Turiaf, Walton, Zubac, and Clarkson with second round picks. Took an outside the box pick with Nance on a late first rounder which had everyone upset on here, only to see Larry blossom into a decent pick. He took Russell ahead of Okafor when Okafor was the consensus pick. He may have started slowly in the draft but given where they were picking he did a pretty good job over the past decade.

5 assists to 1 TO is great when you're putting up 30

If he can replicate it that would be great

The tough-to-replicate part about tonight was his shot-making, which was ridiculous.

4-6 on conventional 3's off of the dribble
2-2 on "I gotta throw up some BS cuz the shot clock's gonna expire" 3's
2-2 on conventional catch & shoot 3's. (one of which banked in )

Yeah. I really have no idea why people jumped on me saying that JC's shooting in unsustainable. It was unsustainable for Steph Curry, never mind a 32% career 3FG% guy. I'm just hoping he can close the season shooting 37%+ from 3 after this hot game.

This was JC's 3pt attempt reel tonight. Dude coulda head-butted it tonight & that (bleep) would've gone in.
