In 37 minutes and while playing pretty decent defense too. Those are all star numbers over the course of a season. Strange that he isn't getting more attention. Maybe just not flashy enough.
He's looking so smooth these days. It's amazing how in control the guy is. Our team even looks better and more organized with him on the floor. He's becoming such a floor leader.
That's such a short stretch. Even Linsanity went longer than that.
He looks good in a meaningless season, but I don't see an All Star yet. I could see him growing into a solid starter as the team improves.
Clarkson, if we lose this pick, you better be a star! I'm serious, anything short of that and I will hate your guts forever.
He better be a top 20 player in the NBA. He better not just be an all star, but one of the star players in the entire (bleep) league.
It's one thing to play like that against a team that probably couldn't beat a division 2 college team, but if you don't preform like that next season if and/or when we lost this pick, I hope we trade your ass faster than you can say Missouri.
It's not Clarkson fault it's Jim Buss. The Lakers FO waited too long to sit players.

What isn't a short stretch are his games as a starter. Here are his stats as a starter (30 games):

What isn't a short stretch are his games as a starter. Not counting tonight, here are his stats as a starter (29 games):
30.6 min., 14.5 PPG (44.6%), 4.3 APG, 4.0 RPG, 0.8 SPG, 2.1 TO, 15.4 PER
Russel Westbrook as a rookie:
32.5 min., 15.3 PPG (39.8%), 5.3 APG, 4.9 RPG, 1.3 SPG, 3.3 TO, 15.3 PER
Derek Rose as a rookie:
37.0 min., 16.8 PPG (47.5%), 6.3 APG, 3.9 RPG, 0.8 SPG, 2.5 TO, 16.0 PER
Damien Lillard as a rookie:
38.6 min., 19.0 PPG (42.9%), 6.5 APG, 3.1 RPG, 0.9 SPG, 3.0 TO, 16.4 PER
...............
If you adjust for minutes, Clarkson is right there with them or better.
Then Clarkson better be right there with them for his whole career.

Ugh...sometimes I wish I was an alcoholic.
Seriously stop with these type of statements. Did you get this mad at the other 19 wins we had? Why the hell would you wish us to trade Clarkson only because he doesn't meet your new far-fetched expectations of him? Get the (bleep) out please. You're embarrassing yourself.
I was in the gym watching the 4th q of the game. Me and another fan we eager to improve our chances at a better pick. I knew clarkson was too much a baller to let that happen though. In the end I was like they have to keep the ball out of clarksons hands or he will close them out.
Clarkson has 1 gear...0 to 100. Would like to see him develop 2 or 3 gears. That change of pace will always have the defenders guessing. One of the reasons why Deron Williams was such a killer back in his days.
If Clarkson can get change of pace and change of direction down while driving to the hoop, that'll add a whole other element to his game. To me, this is the biggest thing he needs to work on. Get those cones out son!

Jordan Clarkson joins @kobebryant, @MagicJohnson & Eddie Jones as the ONLY #Lakers in the past 30 years to record 26p/11a/6r/3s in a game!
It's not just the numbers as a starter that's impressive, it's the players he's avg those numbers against. When Zach Randolph says your good that says a lot. He doesn't just hand out compliments, he watched a rookie outplay his PG Conley.
Clarkson is a gamer. Damn shame it has to come at the expense of the Tank but he's going to be awesome next year when we're trying to win games. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Since '85-86, 2 players have had 26pts, 11asts, 6rebs & 3stls in a game as early in their career as Jordan Clarkson:
Chris Paul
Steph Curry

The Lakers FO has put themselves into a good position to keep their lottery pick. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
