same move as Beal's first move. like i said cpl pages back, this move from a shooter, it's no move to be ashamed to get beat on. Cp3 got embarrassed.
Beal's 2nd move was weak tho, and is indeed an indictment of Clarksons defensive plight - defending dribble moves.
I thought he had the best overall game (close 2nd was Lou who was playing out of position). Looks bigger, stronger than last year. Relentlessly attacking. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Clarkson looks like he's improved since the end of last season. He looks faster, stronger, and more confident. Hopefully the 3 ball falls in at a higher clip this year for him because that would make him extremely difficult to guard.
He needs a lot work on his set jumper. It's not an efficient movement.
If he could get a working shot, his game would go to another level.
He already had that. Stop judging players after 1-5 games. shots will rim out and be short at times but the form is there. He will be lethal this season from all over the floor.

I disagree the form is not there. He jumps too high, leans forward, and his release point is low.
It's fine for short-midrange, but outside of 20 ft. he has trouble getting a nice arch to the basket. It's why his 3's rim out.

Russell going down gave Clarkson some more PG duties tonight. I kind of wished that when both Lou Williams & Clarkson were in that Clarkson play more of the PG role (and let Lou be off-ball). I think Williams is more shoot first while Clarkson can suppress that scoring instinct better to set up teammates

He's 2 for 4 from behind the arch in that game. He's pretty much lights out midrange. I don't see an issue
Man Russell, Clarkson and Randle is a such a great core with tons of potential. With Hibbert as the anchor those guys just need a 3 and d player at sf. Even if we can't get Durant, with Batum they can become most all around team in NBA.
