The only interesting part was when Clarkson got some minutes and we had a chance to evaluate his progress. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

This. Kobe can play whatever style they wish of him and this team won't be winning until they upgrade the roster. There's just not enough talent on this team. |

Surely... you must not be excited about Kobe taking 35 shots per night.... unless you are a bipolar Kobe fan |

Been saying this to my friends for a while. How can everyone else pretty much HAVE to play defense for Kobe, while Kobe is the only one that can play on offense?
There's been plenty of times where instead of passing the ball to an open guy, kobe would take an imbalanced fade away shot.
You guys notice how a lot of our big guys fumble KObe passes? Because they're so trained to just watch for rebounds instead of actually expecting a pass from kobe.
I truly feel like Kobe is definitely dragging this team down. |

I am interested in Clarkson getting dev minutes...but he's so lacking in polish that I can't say that it's actually fun watching him play. |

i just don't get some of you. it's not like Kobe's scoring with his usual grace and flair. the guy is struggling scoring those points. look, i would have no issue if this is a prime Kobe looking for his own shots from his 81 pts days. but nowadays with 2/3 of his shots missing, i can't imagine it is fun to watch even for the biggest Kobe fan. |

Yep, and my grandma taught me that there is a positive in everything, you just have to look for it. The positive of this crappy season? A top 5 lottery pick. It could be our first #1 since Worthy? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Kobe's gonna get burned by the media one way or the other. Either he'll be shooting too much and hurting the team or his numbers are down and he's clearly not the same + weak supporting cast due to his contract.
Either way we're a losing team and Kobe's gonna get blamed.

Fracture of what? Most of these guys will be gone after the season anyway, even Kobe will be on his last leg. Is Ding intimating that the friction might make the team suffer and lose more games? How many more than 9 out of 10 is he afraid of? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Fans who would rather see Kobe jack up a million shots a game in a blowout loss rather than see the team TRY to build something worthwhile are exactly who the Buss kids were thinking of when they signed Kobe to his current deal. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

How many ring did Kobe won without Phil Jackson?
I am just thinking that currently in NBA. I don't know which coach would be able to handle Kobe. Except maybe Pop.
Scott for sure can't. |

Kobe could/should be the leader in the defense too... But he is not. |
You want an 18 year veteran to be the leader on defense.. Seems like Swaggys job to me. |

Front office broke this...Kobe might as well shoot. If Lin isn't happy then do something already. |

I hope he leads the league in scoring. As of now, the only real competition for him will be KD when he comes back IMO. And if he goes 27/5/5, I'll be very happy.
This team is the worst roster we have had in 35 years, Kobe is the only thing making it enjoyable to watch, so fire away Bruh! |
So you like being whipped by 30+ points every night? You don't care as long as Kobe keeps firing away scoring 44 points a night? Ok then.. |
If we have to lose, I choose to lose with Kobe going down firing. Ever watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid?
If there was a way to win...I'd be all for it though. But tell me...is there really a way to win with this roster? |
has Kobe and coaching staff even given this team (minus Kobe) a chance to succeed? we have a guy who does not play defense on the perimeter, while taking all the shots on the offensive end, and yet you're complaining about the roster? i'll bet my house that if you have LeBron on this team with the same roster, this is at least a .600 team. |
And we wonder why there is a homeless problem in LA lol _________________

Fans who think the losing was a result of Kobe shooting too much simply don't understand the game. |

I don't care how many Kobe jacks up, as long as he plays defense along with the rest of the guys. And in truth, he's been freelancing out there and sloppy. |
