Shaq's been around in bball for so long that he played a college game against Hank Gathers. Weird to think, huh? I have a great interview from 92 with Bird in his last year where he's talking about Shaq who was gonna be a rookie the next year. It's also weird to hear Larry Bird, a 70s era player, being cognizant of Shaq. They might've crossed paths as players if Bird's back wasn't so bad.
