It will be bittersweet to see Pau back. As someone who P&M about his contract (not about him, but his $19m), I really loved him as a Laker. Great guy, just got a bit ugly at the end with MDA/no defense. I did want him back at $10m but he wanted to move on. I have nothing but positive things to say about him now. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

This should be in the general discussion, Gasol is no longer a Lakers. _________________ .....

ALTHOUGH HE STANDS 6 FEET 2 INCHES, JIM BUSS ATTENDED JOCKEY SCHOOL WHEN HE WAS 20.
He is probably happier in Chicago now....I'm not sure we would see the same Gasol this year if were he still in LA. Although he is definitely missed, our big men are currently a poor substitute for Pau.
Pau has a done a ton for the city of Los Angeles, not only as a player but also as a person. All the charity work he has done along with his presence will be missed. For those that have actually met the guy know what I am talking about.

How emotional do you think he and Kobe will be?
They'll probably have a quick "session" during halftime.
Of course Kobe will insist on being on top.
So you're not going to predict how long kobe will last? _________________ Maybe you think it's completely innocent. Maybe you don't. But there's no denying that what the rule book says means a lot less than what the NBA wants at any given moment. -Tim Donaghy

He's gonna give Pau 25/5/5.

Anything less than a standing ovation from the crowd during his return game and I'll be disappointed in them. The dude deserves it, and I really wish he had been able to retire a Laker. I'll be rooting heavily for him to win a title this year.
