We're down to 11 active players and who knows when Kelly will be back?
If we hope to get another season out of our $25 million player, we'd better start bringing in a few more healthy bodies. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Kelly is injury prone so don't count on him. With his luck, he'll be back only to hurt his hamstring again (which he did already). Trade him or send him to the D-League when he gets healthy... whenever that is.
I can't remember a more surreal moment than this. anyone have any thing that competes? _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say. I'd guess Xaviar is probably done. He's never been able to stay healthy and an achilles injury while recovering from his knee and foot problems still, it's going to be hard for him to recover from.

If it's not a myth, back in the 80's, promising bench scorer turned malcontent Quiten Dailey once ordered and consumed Nachos on the bench, during a game, that he was on the active roster for. _________________ We back.

1. I meant Laker moment
2. That is pretty darn odd
3. Kaman still wins, imo

Real sorry for X. Get well soon.
Hope Lakers will get another DPE, although it will be quite hard to find anybody with as low salary as the DPE from X's contract gives. _________________ .

Kaman was joking ... look at Judy Seto's reaction.
As far as Laker moments, I heard there was once a rookie on the team that came out of the tunnel and entered into the game with his shorts on backwards. _________________ We back.

Throwback uniforms with tight shorts against the Celtics in 2008. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

I feel bad for those few fans who'd managed to hold out hope for the season this far. I started the season knowing from day one that this year's team would be worse compared to last season's Lakers. Physical breakdowns are part and parcel with this roster's history. NO reason to expect that to change for the better.
Am I guessing that this latest injury serves to crush any lingering doubts ?
It doesn't hurt anymore to lose, sadly. It just confirms what's been obvious since early August: the Lakers are a bucket full of mismatched, broken, worn-down and second tier quality spare parts. That does not make a decent NBA basketball team. Never did.
Just go with it and wait it out. Boycott Laker games. Take your Laker budget and buy vacations to Europe, Asia, and Australia as we're doing instead. Write the club as I did as fan of fifty-plus years, and tell them you too are growing increasingly impatient with club management. This is setting up to be the least successful and slowerst rate of rebuild in club history. But it doesn't hurt anymore,we've learned to adjust.
I understand your angst, but I still support the team. We've been down before, we'll be up again. Until then I give it 100% support.
Can someone please help me out here? What is so difficult? You have three players out for the season, you should get those three roster spots to sign guys. Why is this even a question?
I wouldn't mind getting Quincy Miller and AK-47. Also, If Bynum isn't just sitting at home playing PS4, I would sign him to a non-guaranteed just for the shts and giggles of it all.

Disabled player exemptions only give you salary cap relief. The injured players still take up a roster spot.
