No, Xavier is just injury prone.

I wonder if there's a form of Tommy John surgery for an Achilles tear?

Just think, X gets a deceased man's tendon and morphs into a zombie... and BS has him patrol the paint on defense, eating the brains of anyone foolish enough to enter the low post. Suddenly this season becomes watchable.

Damn. Guess our new conditioning trainer didn't feed him enough grass fed beef.

Terrible, hope he recovers and regains his form. He's a good player given minutes

The Lakers dont have a condintioner trainer. He was fired along with the other Phil Jackson loyalists when Jim Buss was cleaning house. We have Vitti who administers tussin to their ailing body parts.

Looks like he's done as a Laker, but he's still young enough to make an NBA comeback. If not the NBA, he can probably play overseas.

I like X and wish him the best.

I can only hope that when X is healthy again that he is put on the D-Fenders or something because idk if a team would be giving him a chance after an achillies injury so young.

Hope this doesn't end his career. I know he was working hard to come back.

As for the Lakers, I'd actually like to see them giving Roscoe a shot first.

I hope he has some other skills he can lean on outside of basketball.

Worst case, he can be a stunt double for a young Denzel Washington.

Best wishes for X.
He was explosive and fun to watch last year.
I totally understand that situation. I ruptured my left achilles tendon few years back. Couldn't grab the rim again afterwards.

Lakers are looking like those "promising" Blazer teams from recent memory with all those injuries. Only difference is that there is nothing "promising" about these recent Lakers teams!

I guess that's a positive way of looking at it. Only Randle falls into the same category as he's part of the future of the team and his injury was least severe. Nash and X were just placeholders until better and younger players could be found.

Unfortunate injury, he had the talent to be a really good player in a rotation. This will probably be his last time in the league.

That's the sad part. Never liked him as a player but never want to see a guy go down like that, esp a young guy. But let's be real, he got the lowest amount of money he's allowed to be paid per the CBA across the lowest amount of allowable years. When not hurt. He just wasn't good enough pre-injury to get signed somewhere next year.

It there is a chance, it'll take time and a lot of work for him, and he's going to have to pick something and just be really really good at it.
