If we cut Henry for Clark I'd also cut Price to sign Miller and give Clarkson the backup PG spot.
A second unit of Clarkson, Young, Miller, Clark, and Davis would be interesting to watch. |

@EricPincus: A general misconception on injured players - any team can cut any player at any time - just have to pay them guaranteed salary |

I liked X but would be glad to have Earl back since X's career is over. He's not coming back to the NBA with his injuries and style of play. _________________

I like the (interim) move! Can't wait for Clark-Lin-sanity to blow it up! |

Thrilled by this. This guy was one of the lone positives during that abysmal Dwight/Nash year. |

Eh; his profile in his peak with us read-like a good rebounder, able defender and mid-range shooter. Just kind of following his trajectory afterwards, I think he lost his mid-range touch, lost motivation to rebound and just spaced out too much on defense. His motivation and motor have always been in question, and it's not hard to see that he can't maintain his pace with the Lakers.
I think we could have done better. Clark is a meh long range shooter who doesn't even take too much of them, and at this point we might need floor stretcher--at least Quincy Miller is 22 rather than Clark's 26 and gives the impression he's willing to fling more long bombs. I don't trust Scott whatsoever in being able to maximize the abilities of a lackadaisical player, either. It just doesn't seem like it will work. |

So is the tankard half-full or half-empty? |

Yup.
Since X is only on a 1 yr contract, it really doesn't end up making any difference for him since he's out for the season. He still gets paid his full salary. |

Man... this team is almost too perfectly built for D'antoni. Well... except for not having D'antoni. |

yea but in the bargain basement. | 40% off on items that are already in the clearance aisle (and already marked down 70%). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Why get Clark instead of Quincy? Quincy is better than Clark as he can penetrate the basket and shoot from the outside. Quincy is also younger and has more upside. |

They're already barely meeting demand now with how much Jordan, Wes, and Nick need. |

FO's prerogative. Go for former Lakers and washed up busts instead of taking chances on no-names with potential (see Indiana). |

Nash/Wes/Kelly for Josh Smith works but the Lakers will need to wait until Dec 15.... I wonder if the Lakers are gonna target Josh Smith... maybe Scott can get him to focus and play up to his potential. |
