Steve Nash for Derrick Williams and Jason Thompson.
They are both the odd men out in Sac-Town. Thompson still is young and has some upside and is solid down low. Williams can play the 3 for us and should be an adequate defender.
Thompson and Cousins can't co-exist on the same team IMO, so they might as well get some leverage in the form of Cash and possibly a second rounder from the Lakers. Williams is an LA product and might do well back in his hometown, Lakers were considering him a year or two ago, so why not, we have nothing to lose.
It makes the Lakers a better team immediately and deeper. Chemistry might be an issue, but hopefully some more youth and size could make up for it. |

What is in it for the Kings Thompson and Williams at least give them practice bodies. Nash gives the Kings absolutely nothing plus it weakens the Kings front court depth. |

No. Players with little upside that decrease out chance of keeping the pick. |
