kobe was right post game int. he said they have to forget about the record and just play and stop shooting themselves in the foot at the end of games. i can think of 4 games off hand they could have won without doing stupid stuff at the end.
glad lakers won but they have to play so hard to get wins. hopefully they can get a rhythm going because it feels much better going to bed after a win as compared to a loss. i just can't get into the tank mode sorry.
Lin finished November with 12.5 PPG 5 APG 47%FG 36.5%3FG 86%FT
Not bad _________________ For the whole real truth about Jeremy Lin and his toxic tenure with Houston and Kevin Mchale to a new beginning with the Lakers read my post on Pg 108 in "Official Jeremy Lin thread" posted 11/20/14 at 7:39pm.

Context: This team is much better than our record. Terrible coach at offensive and defensive schemes, decimated by injuries in preseason and early on (our starting PG did not play at all with the starters in the preseason remember), many new players all playing together for the 1st time so chemistry is very slowly building, so that the team is finally figuring out slowly how they want to play, still some common sense to settle in (e.g., eventually B Scott and Kobe will realize, gee, maybe we shouldn't switch to Kobe-iso late in the game when his legs and shot are unreliable and his shooting percentage goes way down, happened to work out ok this game). Still think we need some coaching to figure out getting Ed Davis worked into the game and Clarkson instead of Price as backup PG (for the life of me I don't see much markup in defense with Price over Lin and Clarkson has shown flashes of real promise). We will squeak into the 8th seed.
For all the talk of needing to focus on defense, not much you can do with old slow Hill and Boozer and Kobe and mediocre players like Lin who are all doing about the best you can expect and B Scott not having the coaching chops to figure out switching assignments etc on defense. Its offense and better ball movement evolving and sharing the scoring, bringing all players into the game, which is where we have potential to keep improving, not on defense much with this team.
