Please elaborate, I got the Raptors feed. Thanks!

Worthy celebrating like a 14 year old reaching 2nd base for first time ever

Haha...thanks. Wish I could see that

A better version will probably be in somebody's recap videos but in the meantime here you go…

True, their Kobe. But, Minny was missing their best players and beat the Lakers. This is progress. Team had a we ain't losing attitude tonight. (though they made it interesting)

Context: This team is much better than our record. Terrible coach at offensive and defensive schemes, decimated by injuries in preseason and early on (our starting PG did not play at all with the starters in the preseason remember), many new players all playing together for the 1st time so chemistry is very slowly building, so that the team is finally figuring out slowly how they want to play, still some common sense to settle in (e.g., eventually B Scott and Kobe will realize, gee, maybe we shouldn't switch to Kobe-iso late in the game when his legs and shot are unreliable and his shooting percentage goes way down, happened to work out ok this game). Still think we need some coaching to figure out getting Ed Davis worked into the game and Clarkson instead of Price as backup PG (for the life of me I don't see much markup in defense with Price over Lin and Clarkson has shown flashes of real promise). We will squeak into the 8th seed.

For all the talk of needing to focus on defense, not much you can do with old slow Hill and Boozer and Kobe and mediocre players like Lin who are all doing about the best you can expect and B Scott not having the coaching chops to figure out switching assignments etc on defense. Its offense and better ball movement evolving and sharing the scoring, bringing all players into the game, which is where we have potential to keep improving, not on defense much with this team. (BTW, angus is not a pseudonym for D'Antoni )
agreed some good points. amazing that scott who gets so paid quite a bit of money to figure this out hasn't yet?

Aside from making those freethrows in OT and having no TO's, Lin had a meh game. Couldn't find his shot at all tonight, and came out with only 3 assists.

If you want a better record I believe this is your week. 4 Eastern conference opponents. pio2u is still leading with a .667 record.

Low assists were because Kobe was running the show.

John Ireland asks some of the stupidest questions sometimes, and the players always come up with some "how to fix it" answers. I wish they would just say something like "I don't know. I don't know the answer to that."

Lowry had a similar boneheaded foul with 1 minute left. These FTs were big and I am glad he made all.

I agree, out of sync for the most game. He had a borderline bad game. But at least he hit clutch FTs. That's been a problem for the Lakers.

Yup, and how many easy buckets did Hill or Boozer miss under the basket Kobe set up for them? I do think 2 times Lin passed to Bryant he should have shot rather than passed back but Kobe was in an assists mood most of the game. He still scored over 30.

I'm not sure DeRozan playing would have made a difference and if he played I seriously doubt guys like Ross and Vazquez have great games... I seriously think they need to trade either Ross or DeRozan... I would love to have Ross but I don't think we have the asset to get him cause the Raptor fans would put the Raps management on a platter if they trade away there future core piece for some garbage offer.

Well, I'm glad he made those. Yes, mistake, but why focus on that particular bone head play. Enough to go around. Hate to see what would happen with Price instead.

Price control the ball when he was with the bench. Lin passed the ball to Kobe and Kobe set up the offense. This what I saw tonight. You could argue Kobe did it because Lin didn't do his job but I think Kobe made the change and decided to pass more to the bigs.

See, he's 3-11 w/11 pts. If he had taken 30 shots, he would've have ~30 pts.

Just had a look at the box scores. What really stood out is the 10-28 performance from Lowry. That is a seriously 'chuck-tastic' performance.

Reminds me of last season's game between the Lakers and Raptors when Rudy Gay put up 7-26, and coming from Rudy Gay, was rightly lambasted for it.

Also a look at on ESPN at Lowry's stats for the last 5 game stretch. He's shooting less than .350 whilst attempting 18-19 shots per game. Ouch.

It looks like Davis is close to being a bench-warmer.... Sacre played more minutes then him tonight... and he's playing more effective then Davis.... Davis diff looks lost out there..... it might be best to let him sit for a few games to straighten himself out.
