Press conference scheduled for noon tomorrow for Peacock-Blitz to unveil stadium plan.

And with that the gauntlet has been thrown down....
Sadly, looks like LA might have been used again.

Nobody from the Rams showed up at the press conference, and they need Kroenke to pay for half of it. Still a chance.

Yeah, guess Stan has his eyes set on moving back to LA....
Guess St Louis will just have to deal with potentially losing the team because Stan doesn't look like he wants to stay.

Someone on the local news was on last night though, and he said Kroenke's nickname is "Silent Stan", so it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Roger "I hate LA" Goodell is really on a ego trip. Does he realize that he works for the owners? Hopefully JJ who is on our side put him in his place.

Goodell is in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can stop an owner from moving a team....

Goodell will try really hard to block the move but ultimately will face what Rozelle did back in '82 with Al Davis and the courts. Anti-Trust Laws hold a greater weight than Goodell at the end of the day.

That link heads to a general listing of news on a CBS radio station, not anything about a stadium deal for the Chargers in Los Angeles.

At any rate, there's a whole lot more involved in making that happening than Goldman Sachs agreeing to partner up. So even if they have agreed, it doesn't really mean much.

If the Rams come back to LA, it has to be on our terms. How much taxpayer money are they going to demand? It needs to be zero.

Kroenke needs to finance it himself and borrow the rest from the NFL.

Oh man. It looks like it's becoming more of a reality. I'll still believe it when I see it but, it's the closest it's ever been. Can't wait. Hopefully I'll be able to root for an LA team in all 4 major sports.

The vote is going to be on June 16th. If it passes they can and will start building the stadium shortly after.

They would play in the Rose Bowl while the Stadium is being built. The Coliseum is a dump. The city of Pasadena already approved additional dates for football games I believe in anticipation of something like this happening.

Guess USC wants a piece of the action and are making the Coliseum available for their temporary home if an NFL team wants to relocate.

Update: St. Louis just made a deal with construction workers to work in shifts 24 hrs a day so the stadium can be built faster. How they will fund the stadium is the final piece of the puzzle
