1. SAS
2. Mem
3. GSW
4. Portland
...
25+: Lakers, only because a Laker championship this season would surely prove that the level of competition across the NBA sunk to an unbelievably low level. |

If the Grizzlies win then we will see even more "Mitch sucks because he traded Marc Gasol" posts. No thanks. And I find their style of basketball to be pretty boring. Please don't compare them to the 09 Lakers because that team had Kobe and could score. Memphis has nobody like Kobe. Even when Memphis gave OKC fits in the playoffs, the Grizzlies offense was ugly to watch and I was frustrated when I rooted them on and they struggled to score.
I thought Memphis also put up an incredibly weak showing against the Spurs in the conference finals in 2013. |

It's probably because they played teams like the Clippers and OKC in the playoffs and those teams are hated here (especially LA). It's easier to start liking a team if you've rooted for them in a few playoff series.
They also haven't played the Lakers in a postseason series yet. A couple of postseason series against Memphis would get people hating them in here, but with this Laker team we know that won't happen anytime soon. |

ANYBODY but the Clippers, Spurs, Cavs, Rockets and Miami.
I want the Lakers to win.
But looking at it a bit more realistic: I would like the Grizzlies to win. Portland, Chicago or Golden State wouldn't bother me really. |

+1. Would also add Houston as no ring team.
I like the Comeback kid story. OKC vs Pacers (after they trade for Rondo, and George makes a return in the playoffs) |

Your top 5 is about right. GSW is exciting to watch, and it's JW at the helm. |

I've enjoyed watching their "Grit and Grind" style of play for a while now TBH. Ever since they eliminated the Spurs as the 8th seed back in 2011, I've had a soft spot for them.
I care about the Lakers infinitely more than I care about any other team in the NBA, but if I had to choose a second favorite team, it would definitely be the Grizzlies. Gasol, Randolph, and Conley are three of my favorite players in the league today. |

I don't want the clippers, Miami, Cleveland and especially San An (bleep) tonio winning it |
I actually think it would be pretty great if Miami won |

W's, OKC first. Hawks would be okay, too. The W's style is the most fun to watch. |

The real question is who I want to win the least.
1. Clippers
2. Rockets
3. Cavs
---
4. Mavs
---
All other contenders I'd be okay with. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0 |

Warriors vs. Bulls
Warriors in 6.
Realistically, I don't see anyone stopping the Spurs in a series. |

For me it would be Portland. Their two superstars in the making would have to take it to another level. That would be exciting to see. |
