Last game thread for me for a while especially if the Lakers help me tie my game-thread record... a win against WAS will be huge. |

with these game thread records. A win against the Wizards matters because it's a win for the Lakers. Is it any less huge if someone else made the game thread? If so, the human mind is a comically insane thing. |

most likely a loss, even though lakers are 4-0 vs the east, the wizards are actually a top tier team in the east and are fast, athletic, big, and can shoot the ball into the basket.
plus the lakers are playing a second night of a back to back and kobe is ill. |

We are due for a great performance from Lin so let's hope the Lakers can Whack Washington and Wipeout the Wizards!

Here's your answer if you think this is a joke. _________________

The truth is the very very beginning of Linsanity was built on John Wall's back in summer league when he was the #1 overall pick and Lin was the undrafted invited at summer league when they were both Rookies.
The footage is still on YouTube if you want to see how that matchup turned out.
Lin always gets hyped to play John Wall. Lin had one of his most famous rare Slam Dunks on Wall. _________________ For the whole real truth about Jeremy Lin and his toxic tenure with Houston and Kevin Mchale to a new beginning with the Lakers read my post on Pg 108 in "Official Jeremy Lin thread" posted 11/20/14 at 7:39pm. |

I predict that the Wizards will destroy us... they play good defense and their backcourt is very good now that Beal is back. Pierce always plays well against the Lakers + Gortat/Nene are tough. |

The Wizards will win this one by double digits. Beal should have a big game with Kobe guarding him. |

I think Nene is out with plantar fasciitis, so Hill can handle Gortat. Its Beal and Wall the frighten me. Paulina is also there, the Wizards are legit. I know this because i go to games often. I refused to go to the game today because i knew we would lose. I would glady eat crow though!!!! _________________ New Beginings |

Nothing bad. Just basketball stuff.
In Summer League, right after Wall was chosen as the #1 pick, Washington's summer league team faced Dallas's summer league team. Dallas had this undrafted Asian kid named Jeremy Lin that there was some light rumbling about, but not enough to get him drafted apparently.
They went back and forth, but Lin basically got the best of Wall that game. He made some good defensive stops and Wall couldn't stop Lin. That game was pretty much the reason Lin was picked up by Golden State. And it was probably a little embarrassing for Wall. |

This will be a tough match up for Kobe & Lin. Expect Wizards to be prepared. I won't be surprised we get blown out |

I cannot imagine Kobe not being extremely tired this game. Hope others all step up offensively and defensively. |

Unfortunately, I don't think Lin historically plays well on the second game of a back to back. I would love to have him prove me wrong, though. |

Ironically at Golden State, Lin was considered a "defensive specialist", similar to how Ronnie Price is viewed on this team. Don't know how this game is going to go for Lin because I don't know if he's going to be able to dominate the ball, but I'm hoping Lin brings his A game on both sides of the court.
This is a winnable game, but the Lakers have looked gassed on back to backs. Expect good energy in the first half, and hope they hang on in the second. |
