Looked more resigned than mad (Nick was definitely more visibly frustrated, which Kobe liked). Didn't actually say anything in particular.

yea, Kobe's been really hush after losses this season. He's just completely over losing

come on, he played like a crop this game, no defense, offense is cold, ugly turnovers...

I didn't say anything about how Kobe played/didn't play.

I missed the game & looking at the box score and reading the comments I'm glad I missed this one.

It had to be UGLY!!
agreed, i had a feeling when they lost the last game they would more than likely lose this one. now we can't even beat the worst east conf. teams. at this point i waiting on one lineup change before i put my bags underneath and board the tank bus.

sorry, i was overreacting... honestly feel bad for kobe, the guy is a warrior, just can't not play his A game anymore, Bryon's coaching does not help either... no easy bucket for Kobe at all...

They're trying to scapegoat Lin and Hill. Backfired. You don't bench the 2 best players on that night. Horrible coaching.

Looks like Lin scored most of (if not all) his points against Rondo:

Byron can't have any credibility with the team if he keeps excusing Kobe on defense.

You don't tank against the Celtics. Not even a tanking front office would give those orders.

It's bad enough if a franchise like Lakers is really tanking but to tank against your historical rival is just bad.

Interesting, Lin scored 7 points in 2:03 in 2nd quarter and 7 points in 1:43 in the 3rd quarter.

lin needs to get more selfish even if he gets benched, his trade value and overall value since he's in a contract year is dropping. he has to go into offense mode otherwise he's going to have a significant drop in salary next year wherever he plays.

you always go for the easy bucket. Why not go for a layup instead of a 20 footer (which seems to be Byron's favorite shot).

Look at the other player stats. Others players can't even make a bucket. Everyone standing 20 ft away from the rim.

he has been aggressive enough tonight and he played 19 mins. If he is to be more selfish, he will play 12 mins and eventually a DNP-CD? That wont help his market value either.

In fact, I am not sure Lin really concerns how much he is going to get paid. He just wants to play in the NBA and helps his team win the best he could.

kobe can't be pissed making as much as he is. i get it he should earn the money, it's just the way things are structured it hurts the talent level and with injuries and nash in particular we need a pg. so this year is done basically you stick a fork in it.
