I can agree PB fit better with Harden so I think it was a fit issue. And McHale was playing Lin 30+ min usually.
This benching of Jeremy for Price is just total disrespect. and all of a sudden he is playing under 20 mins
Lin didn't do anything bad enough and Price didn't outplay Lin or anything to start. When Lin played well in BOS everybody wonder why Lin only played 19 mins. It is quite obvious BS is stubborn enough and made up his mind already from the BOS game.... I agree that somebody posted saying if Jeremy scored 20+ points last game then BS can't justify his move. that's why he has to limit Lin's min. |
Price 50% from the arch tonight. That's good. |

You were watching the game right? He had an off night shooting again but he played solid D. He was giving good help D, rotating when needed, and covering his man well. He was covering both Holiday and Mekel. He stayed in front of Holiday when he was driving to the rim and held Mekel to 1/5 shooting. |
Lin had a couple of nice drives to the basket, just couldn't convert. Also missed 2 FTs so his mechanics was definitely off. |

what does it matter?
lin is a low to average pg in the league. and with byron scott as your coach pretty much everyone is going to suck. no nba player can look good playing with absolutely no system. no rhythm. no flow. no sense.
all this attention on lin. byron scott doesn't seem to know how to coach offense, defense, transition, anything... i'm done. |
I would say Lin is a solid average but backup PG but not low. when your asset is PnR and fast breaks and no one comes up to help you set a screen what the hell are you supposed to do.
Lin should try to create his own shot if he wants to follow through on modelling himself after Ginobli and add it to his arsenal. |
Last game was the first time i saw aggressive Lin this year, and he got benched for the whole 4 quarter. Our coach decided that Price is better.
What can I say? |
Running Dantoni offense will always get you benched. |
I don't even think it is Dantoni.
It is just running in transition, not jogging like other 4 lakers did.
I have no idea Why even Wes is jogging. |
Lin attacked when the defense wasnt set. Thats dantoni offense. He should of jogged down with the other players. |
That's called nowadays Nba offense, not Dantoni offense.
I think we are the only team that don't push EVERY TIME, and wait for people jogging to front court. |
My knicks run the same offense, long 2s= worst start in franchise history |

Funny watching the crowds at Staples, it's like their in denial when the Lakers eventually lose. Are they actually thinking we're gonna win make the 8th seed this year?

I don't now. i watched only 2,3 knicks games this year. To me they still have much faster pace/ and will push the ball sometimes, maybe i am wrong. |

Lol this logic is flawed. Newsflish who does Kobe to pass to that can knockdown shots at a good rate. Now if Kobe had average to good cast around him I would question his motives shooting too much not trusting his teammates enough, but that is not the case here. Please stop blaming Kobe for this current mess he is on of few good players on this team. |

at the end it is all about coaching. it does not matter how you rearrange the line up, they still are going to play with the same attitude. there is no PNRs, no game plans. the game looks the same even with a change of the lineup. BS is responsible for all of these losses. i don't think the players are responding to him. just sad... |

they keep calling this new grouping of players "young". Really, which guy? Price, Kobe? Jordan Hill and Wes Johnson have been around. Ed Davis has a couple of years under his belt. Same with the 2nd unit, none of them qualify as "young" anymore. They've all got a couple of years experience. |
